What you can list freely

The majority of equipment is not subject to authorization requirements and can be sold without verifying the buyer's eligibility, for example:

• Riflescopes, red dot sights, and binoculars
• Clothing and footwear
• Backpacks, bags, and field accessories
• Most knives and tools

Because no authorization is needed, the sale process is quick and shipping is straightforward.

Watch out: These exceptions are not freely sellable

Some accessories are still subject to authorization requirements or fall under the Waffengesetz. Treat them like a firearm when selling and verify the buyer's eligibility:

• Suppressors require authorization and must be registered on the Waffenbesitzkarte.
• Certain knives (such as specific switchblades, gravity knives, and butterfly knives) are subject to the Waffengesetz.
• Essential firearm components are legally equivalent to firearms.
