The 1911 series pistol has been manufactured by Colt since 1911, which speaks for the good quality of the weapon. Until 1985, the pistol was the ordonnance weapon of the American armed forces. The weapon is reproduced by various manufacturers under license.
The most outstanding feature of the weapon is not necessarily its precision (although it is more than sufficient for hunting purposes) but its reliability.
