How does the buy-back work?

All you need for the buy-back is two photos of the firearm plus the manufacturer and model details. You can upload this information on the sell page, and our partners will then send you an offer.

If you accept the offer, the Gunfinder partner covers the shipping costs: live firearms will be collected by a courier, while non-live firearms are shipped via DHL.

You just need to have the firearm and the registration document ready.

What documents do I need?

To sell the firearm you'll need two documents: first, the firearms ownership card (Waffenbesitzkarte) on which the firearm is registered, and second, the master data sheet (Stammdatenblatt) — an extract from the National Firearms Register. The Stammdatenblatt was only introduced recently, so don't worry if you don't have it yet — you can request it quickly and easily from your local firearms authority.

My firearm has a riflescope mounted on it — can I still sell it?

Our buy-back partners will make you a fair offer for every firearm. If a riflescope is mounted on the firearm or the mounting hardware is present, that's no problem — it will be taken into account in the offer.
