The minimum price on Gunfinder is €0.01. We recommend setting your price to match the market value. You can find this out by comparing your item with similar listings. You can also have your firearm appraised by our experts.

Your listing should include multiple photos that clearly show the condition of the firearm. Knowledgeable buyers pay close attention to the condition of wear parts — and especially to the bore, the chamber, and the muzzle. These should therefore be clearly visible in the photos.

Many sellers point out the low number of rounds fired through the firearm — however, this information alone is not decisive. For the condition of these parts, the number of rounds fired matters less than details about how the firearm has been maintained. A key indicator of good maintenance and overall condition is the state of the bluing.

The bore should also show sharp lands and grooves. Prospective buyers of used firearms often compare these with the lands and grooves of a new firearm.

To improve your visibility in online searches, it's a good idea to keep your listing clear and well-organized, and to use accurate terminology — for example, the correct caliber designation.

If the firearm shoots with particularly good accuracy, it's worth including a target group photo in the listing. Many rifles, even older ones, are well broken in and pair nicely with specific ammunition. This should definitely be mentioned in the listing.

You can delete your listing at any time in your profile area. To do so, click the user icon found in the top right corner of every Gunfinder page. Under "My Listings" you can find, edit, and delete your listings.

It is not permitted to offer items that violate legal regulations or public decency. Specifically, this applies to items such as:

• prohibited items under the Waffengesetz or the War Weapons Control Act of the Federal Republic of Germany

• propaganda items and items bearing the symbols of unconstitutional organizations and/or symbols that could be confused with these

• items that infringe copyright, personality rights, or trademark rights

• explosive substances, propellant powders, hazardous chemicals, and toxic or radioactive materials

• pornographic items and items harmful to minors

Gunfinder reserves the right to remove listings that violate the Terms and Conditions or applicable law from the listings pages.

You can edit or delete your listing at any time in your profile. To do so, click the user icon found in the top right corner of every Gunfinder page. Under "My Listings" you can find and edit your listings.

The more precisely you categorize your listing, the easier it will be for interested buyers to find it. Use the dropdown menu to select the most appropriate category. If you're not sure which category best fits your listing, feel free to send us a quick email at [email protected].

You can add up to 10 photos to your listing.

Listings automatically expire after 4 weeks. This helps us avoid having Gunfinder listings remain online for items that have already been sold. Before your listing expires, we'll send you an email with the option to renew it. Simply open the email and click the relevant button, and your listing will be extended.
