In the book "Luger – The Illustrated History of Handguns by Hugo Borchardt and Georg Luger, 1875 to Present" by J. Walter, this very pistol offered here is mentioned on pages 166/167! From a determination of handguns by Steffen Meier in collaboration with the German Weapons Journal from the year 1994 regarding this pistol offered here: "In this work (book "Luger" by J. Walter), your weapon is specifically mentioned by serial number. It is the very first of the series production. Eine Pistole Mauser-Parabellum 29/70 in 9mm Luger Eine besondere und seltene Pistole, die sogar mit dieser Seriennummer 11001001 in der Fach-Literatur genannt wird.
