Best suited for Pard NV007 and other digital night vision devices. What's new with Maximtac IR-940 Gen 2? Memory function - the lamp turns on to the same level that was selected before it was turned off. Round light spot - better fits the field of view of a riflescope. No grid effect at full focus. Level 1 power adjusted to 50% power (predecessor had 30% which was hardly usable). Our IR-940 lamp provides about 35% less power/range than 850nm IR emitters, but is considered 100% wildlife safe.
