The SIG SAUER P211 GTO is the competition variant of the new P211 family. This new pistol platform adopts and improves the concept of the double-stack 1911 pistol and utilizes widely used and proven P320 magazines. Made entirely of metal, it is a heavy pistol designed for rapid fire and high precision. The famous, excellent ergonomics of the 1911 are retained, with the grip being only slightly thicker than that of the single-stack predecessor. The trigger, which runs straight back, guarantees high precision even during rapid fire - the P211 GTO features a straight and skeletonized trigger. A magazine funnel and compensator emphasize its sporty use - the compensator is the new and innovative Mach3D model - with a special design for optimized gas flow, which is only possible with 3D printing, recoil and muzzle rise are significantly reduced.
As is customary with modern SIG SAUER pistols, all 211 models offer a high-quality Nitron coating and G10 grip panels, which, like the rest of the grip, are equipped with an aggressive and secure texture. The weapon is a single-action pistol with a manual safety and a palm safety, just like the predecessor. The grip is two-part, with a steel slide guide and a magazine well made from a special alloy for stability and long life. The modern handgun is rounded off with a Picatinny rail on the dust cover and an optic-ready interface, which complements the fixed sight with a fiber optic front sight - the rear sight remains mounted when using an optic.

Die SIG SAUER P211 GTO ist die Wettkampfvariante der neuen P211 Familie. Diese neue Pistolenplattform übernimmt und verbessert das Konzept der doppelreihigen 1911er Pistole und nutzt verbreitete und bewährte P320 Magazine. Komplett aus Metall gefertigt handelt es sich um eine schwere Pistole, ausgelegt für schnelle Schussfolgen und hohe Präzision. Die berühmte, hervorragende Ergonomie der 1911 wird beibehalten, das Griffstück ist nur etwas dicker als von dem einreihigen Vorbild gewohnt. Geradlinig zurücklaufend ist der Abzug ein Garant für hohe Präzision auch bei schnellen Schussfolgen - die P211 GTO verfügt über ein gerades und skelettiertes Züngel. Ein Magazintrichter und Kompensator betonen den sportlichen Einsatz - der Kompensator ist das neue und innovative Mach3D Modell - mit einer speziellen Konstruktion für einen optimierten Gasfluss, welche nur im 3D-Druck möglich ist, werden Rückstoß und Hochschlag deutlich reduziert.
Wie man es von den modernen SIG SAUER Pistolen gewohnt ist, bieten alle 211 Modelle eine hochwertige Nitron-Beschichtung und G10-Griffschalen welche ebenso wie das restliche Griffstück mit einer aggressiven und sicheren Struktur versehen sind. Die Waffe ist eine Single Action Pistole mit manueller Sicherung und Handballensicherung, wie das Vorbild. Das Griffstück ist zweiteilig, mit einer Schlittenführung aus Stahl und einem Magazinschacht aus einer speziellen Legierung für Stabilität und hohe Lebensdauer. Abgerundet wird die moderne Kurzwaffe durch eine Picatinnyschiene am Dustcover und einer optic ready Schnittstelle, welche die starre Visierung mit Fiberglaskorn ergänzt - die Kimme bleibt bei Verwendung einer Optik montiert.
