Bulgarian (Arsenal) AKM / AK74 rifle sling from the 70s/80s. Price is per sling.
Two different variants:
One sling has steel hooks at both ends, while the other has a leather tab designed to be attached to the rifle (see pictures)
Condition:
Steel parts are partially minimally rusted, but actually not worth mentioning. Leather is well-maintained and functional, meaning it is not hardened or brittle.
Due to age, the outer layer shows some wear, particularly at stressed points, where it is slightly cracked, but this is only on the surface. The core material is not at risk and is absolutely durable and ready for use.
Interesting facts:
Very interesting construction in any case. It can be easily mounted and adjusted in length. The tabs at the ends are designed as replaceable wear parts, which can actually swing a little. They automatically adapt somewhat to the angle of inclination and can better absorb the tensile load than a sling made from a single continuous piece of leather.
Notes:
Leather should not be exposed to very high temperatures too often, and should also be regularly maintained (oiled).
If the leather gets wet, it is advisable to let it dry gently at mild temperatures and then oil it again. Under no circumstances should it be exposed to heat while wet to dry it - this will make it brittle.
It has been maintained with saddle balm (also recently) - residues of this may still adhere to the leather. Therefore, I would recommend vigorously rubbing the sling with an old towel before use.

Zwei verschiedene Varianten:
Der eine Riemen hat Stahlhaken an beiden Enden, bei dem anderen ist die Leder Lasche dazu gedacht am Gewehr befestigt zu werden (siehe Bilder).
Kommen auch extrem gut zur Geltung an Cugir AKs, AK-47 oder an Gewehren von Zastava (etwa M21 oder M2010).
Zustand:
Stahlteile teilweise minimal flugrostig, aber eigentlich nicht der Rede wert. Leder ist gepflegt und gängig, sprich nicht verhärtet oder versprödet.
Altersbedingt Oberhaut, an besonders belasteten Stellen teilweise leicht rissig, aber das ist nur an der Oberfläche. Das Kernmaterial ist nicht in Gefahr und absolut belastbar und einsatzbereit.
Wissenswertes:
Sehr interessante Konstruktion jedenfalls. Lässt sich sehr einfach montieren und in der Länge verstellen. Die Laschen an den Enden sind als austauschbare Verschleißteile konzipiert, die tatsächlich auch ein wenig Schwingen können. Sie passen sich automatisch etwas dem Neigungswinkel an und können die Zugbelastung besser abfangen, als ein Riemen, der aus einem einzigen durchgängigen Stück Leder besteht.
Anmerkungen:
Leder sollte nicht zu oft sehr hohen Temperaturen ausgesetzt, so wie auch regelmäßig gepflegt (gefettet) werden.
Sollte Leder mal Nass werden ist es ratsam es schonend bei milden Temperaturen trocknen zu lassen und es danach nochmal einzufetten. Auf keinen Fall sollte man es in nassem Zustand Hitze aussetzen um es zu trocknen - davon wird es rissig.
Sind mit Sattel-Balsam gepflegt worden (auch erst kürzlich) - Rückstände davon können noch am Leder anhaften. Ich würde daher dazu raten den Riemen vor Gebrauch mal kräftig mit einem alten Handtuch abzurubbeln.
