Die Repetierbüchse Sauer 101 Highland XTC ist die ultraleichte Carbon-Variante der 101 Familie und stellt Wettbewerber in Sachen Gewicht, mit seinen gerade einmal 2,5 kg, in den Schatten. Dieser Gewichts-Performer ist bis ins kleinste Detail getrimmt. Sauer konnte sich nicht im Zaum halten kannelierte den Lauf und sogar die Kammer. Der besonders formstabile Carbonschaft wird in Handarbeit gefertigt, um nicht nur die optischen sondern auch die technischen Eigenschaften des Carbons voll auszunutzen.
