The knife features the old wooden stock with the imprint „1er Choix Opinel – La Main Couronnée“ as well as the original carbon steel blade with the classic Opinel logo (crowned hand). It is equipped with the patented Virobloc locking ring.
Based on the characteristics, the knife likely dates from the 1960s.
