The PMAG 10 GEN M3 of the next generation is a 10-round polymer magazine for AR15/M4-compatible firearms in caliber 5.56x45 NATO / .223 Remington. In addition to an expanded range of functions and compatibility, the GEN M3 features new material technologies and manufacturing processes for improved strength, durability, and reliability. The PMAG 10 offers the next generation of magazines for those who require a lower profile or where laws mandate a low magazine capacity.

While the GEN M3 is optimized for Colt-specific AR15/M4 platforms, the modified internal and external geometry also allows operation with a range of other firearms such as the HK® 416/MR556A1/M27 IAR, the British SA-80, the FN® SCAR™ MK 16/16S, and others.

The PMAG 10 GEN M3 features a durable stainless steel spring, a four-way anti-tilt follower for reliable feeding, and an easy-to-disassemble, flared magazine floor that facilitates magazine removal and handling while providing improved drop protection. A newly designed bolt catch notch at the rear of the magazine allows for more clearance when using the bolt catch, while a stop on the magazine back ensures that the magazine cannot be pulled too far into the magazine well on compatible firearms. Additionally, an optional pop-off impact/dust cover clip can be used to minimize dirt ingress and protect the top round during storage and transport from potential damage.

Neben einem erweiterten Funktionsumfang und Kompatibilität beinhaltet das GEN M3 neue Materialtechnologien und Fertigungsprozesse für verbesserte Festigkeit, Haltbarkeit und Zuverlässigkeit. Das PMAG 10 bietet die nächste Generation von Magazinen für diejenigen, die ein niedrigeres Profil benötigen oder Gesetze eine geringe Magazinkapazität vorschreiben.

Während das GEN M3 für Colt-spezifische AR15/M4-Plattformen optimiert ist, ermöglicht die modifizierte innere und äußere Geometrie auch den Betrieb mit einer Reihe weiterer Waffen wie dem HK® 416/MR556A1/M27 IAR, dem britischen SA-80, dem FN® SCAR™ MK 16/16S und anderen.

Das PMAG 10 GEN M3 verfügt über eine langlebige Feder aus rostfreiem Stahl, einen Vier-Wege-Anti-Tilt-Follower für eine zuverlässige Zuführung und eine leicht zu demontierenden, ausgestellten Magazinboden, der die Entnahme und Handhabung des Magazins erleichtert und gleichzeitig einen verbesserten Fallschutz bietet. Eine neu gestaltete Verschlussfangkerbe im hinteren Teil des Magazins sorgt für mehr Spielraum beim Verschlussfang, während ein Anschlag am Magazinrücken sicherstellt, dass das Magazin bei kompatiblen Waffen nicht zu weit in den Magazinschacht eingezogen werden kann. Darüber hinaus kann optional eine Pop-Off-Schlag-/Staubschutzclip verwendet werden, um das Eindringen von Schmutz zu minimieren und die oberste Patrone während der Lagerung und des Transports vor möglichen Schäden zu schützen.
