The B&T NAR low profile rail for SIG550 is a Picatinny rail for all SIG55X models with fixed drum diopter and prism on the housing in front of the handguard. The mounting rail is simply slid into the prism. The rail is made of anodized aluminum, and the locking elements for the prism and the stop are made of phosphated steel. This variant features a tool-free quick-mount system; by pressing the side buttons, the locking is released, the mount is inserted into the counter plates on the weapon, and locked in place - fully mounted.
Please note: The B&T AG currently uses the NAR, the NATO Accessory Rail, which is a modified version of the well-known Picatinny rail with improved repeat accuracy and tolerance. For the user, the NAR is fully compatible with Picatinny.

Die B&T NAR low profile rail für SIG550 ist eine Picatinnyschiene für alle SIG55X-Modelle mit festen Trommeldiopter und Prisma auf dem Gehäuse vor dem Handschutz. Die Montageschiene wird einfach in das Prisma geschoben. Die Schiene ist aus eloxiertem Aluminium gefertigt, die Arretierungselemente für das Prisma und der Anschlag sind aus phosphatierten Stahl.
Diese Variante verfügt über eine werkzeugfreie Schnellmontage, durch die seitlichen Drücker wird die Arretierung gelöst, die Montage wird in die Gegenlager auf der Waffe eingesetzt und eingerastet - fertig montiert.

Die B&T AG verwendet aktuell durchgehend die NAR, die NATO Accessory Rail, welche eine modifizierte Variante der bekannten Picatinnyschiene mit verbesserter Wiederholgenauigkeit und Toleranz darstellt. Für den Anwender ist die NAR komplett kompatibel mit Picatinny.
