The Smith & Wesson M&P 15 V-Pro Rifle is the finally available variant in Germany of the famous and highly successful M&P 15 family in the USA. The "German Compliant" version of the Volunteer Pro series offers high-quality components in a package adapted for the German market - and German laws. At its core is the M&P 15 with a 15" M-Lok handguard, an 18" (45.7cm) barrel with a 1:8" 5R twist, and a Mid-Length gas system. The firing pin is chrome-plated, the barrel is hard nitrided inside and out (Armornite finish), the trigger guard is part of the forged housing - the muzzle is recessed with a classic "target crown" for improved precision. Compared to the "normal" Volunteer, the Pro Series is completely revised and features a straight trigger blade. The pistol grip is inspired by the design of the M&P pistols and features interchangeable backstraps.

M&P stands for "Military & Police" and was the designation of the famous revolver from the late 19th century, which was later renamed "Model 10" and laid the foundation for modern S&W revolvers. Das Smith & Wesson M&P 15 V-Pro Rifle ist die endlich in Deutschland erhältliche Variante der berühmten und in den USA äußerst erfolgreichen M&P 15 Familie. Die "German Compliant" Ausführung der Volunteer Pro Serie bietet hochwertige Komponenten in einem für den deutschen Markt - und den deutschen Gesetzen - angepassten Paket. Den Kern bildet die die M&P 15 mit 15" M-Lok Handschutz, 18" (45,7cm) Lauf mit 1:8" 5R Drall und Mid-Lenght gas System. Der Schlagbolzen ist verchromt, der Lauf ist innen und außen hart nitriert (Armornite finish), der Abzugsbügel ein Teil des geschmiedeten Gehäuses - die Mündung ist mit abgesenkt mit einer klassischen "target crown" für verbesserte Präzision. Gegenüber der "normalen" Volunteer ist die Pro Series komplett überarbeitet und verfügt über einen geraden Abzugszüngel. Der Pistolengriff ist an das Design der M&P Pistolen angelehnt und verfügt über auswechselbare Griffrücken.
