The Smith & Wesson M&P 15 V-Pro Rifle is the finally available variant in Germany of the famous and highly successful M&P 15 family in the USA. The "German Compliant" version of the Volunteer Pro series offers high-quality components in a package adapted for the German market - and German laws. At its core is the M&P 15 with a 15" M-Lok handguard, an 18" (45.7cm) barrel with a 1:8" 5R twist, and a Mid-Length gas system. The firing pin is chrome-plated, the barrel is hard nitrided inside and out (Armornite finish), the trigger guard is part of the forged housing - the muzzle is recessed with a classic "target crown" for improved precision. Compared to the "normal" Volunteer, the Pro Series is completely revised and features a straight trigger blade. The pistol grip is inspired by the design of the M&P pistols and features interchangeable backstraps.

M&P stands for "Military & Police" and was the designation of the famous revolver from the late 19th century, which was later renamed "Model 10" and laid the foundation for modern S&W revolvers. But even in civilian hands, the rifle makes an excellent impression. The weapon has a BKA classification notice.
