In eingeklapptem Zustand benötigt der Spaten nur 26 cm Platz und kann damit auch perfekt an oder im Rucksack verstaut werden. Dank hochfestem Kunststoff aus der Waffentechnik bleibt das Gewicht mit 655 g sehr leicht. Der Stil lässt sich verlängert und das integrierte Sägeblatt kann auf das Griffende geschraubt werden, so hat man eine mobile Säge immer auch mit zur Hand.
