For the use of red dot sights with the lowest possible height on the pistol, Glock has developed the MOS models. These pistols feature an interface that allows the mounting of various red dot sight devices using adapters.
Since there is no uniform mounting standard, the so-called "footprint" for red dot sights, different Glock adapter plates are necessary depending on the manufacturer.
It should be noted that Glock's small frame (9mm, .40 S&W, .357 SIG, etc.) uses different adapter plates than the large frame (.45 ACP, 10 mm Auto). Please refer to our overview below. The "Slimline" M.O.S models do not use adapter plates as a specific sight is directly mounted on a particular model.

Original Glock

The ergonomically designed grip, made from a single piece with a natural grip angle from impact-resistant special plastic, is extremely durable with 86% less weight than steel. Für die Verwendung von Rotpunktvisieren mit möglichst niedriger Bauhhöhe auf der Pistole, hat Glock die MOS-Modelle entwickelt. Diese Pistolen verfügen über eine Schnittstelle, welche mithilfe von Adaptern die Montage verschiedener Leuchtpunktzielgeräte ermöglicht.
Da es keinen einheitlichen Montagestandard, den sogenannten "footprint" für Rotpunktvisiere gibt, sind je nach Herstller verschiedene Glock-Adapterplatten notwendig.
Bei Glock ist zu beachten dass der small frame (9mm, .40 S&W, .357 SIG, etc.) andere Adapterplatten verwendet als der large frame (.45 ACP, 10 mm Auto). Beachten sie dazu unsere nachstehende Übersicht. Die "Slimline" M.O.S Modelle benutzen keine Adapterplatten da bei einem bestimmten Modell ein spezifisches Visier direkt montiert wird.
