This magazine well for the HK243 or G36 allows the use of STANAG magazines as commonly found in the AR15. Modifications may be necessary for the SL8. The magazine release lever is located on the left side and can therefore be operated with the thumb of the left hand, just like the original "paddle," when grasping the magazine. Made from the same plastic as the housing of the HK243 / G36 with a steel magazine release lever, the interchangeable magazine well offers a quality that one expects from Heckler & Koch, and the respective color matches the base weapon.

Dieser Magazinschacht für das HK243 bzw. G36 ermöglicht die Verwendung von STANAG Magazinen wie sie in der AR15 üblich sind. Bei der SL8 sind eventuell Anpassungen notwendig. Der Magazinlösehebel sitzt auf der linken Seite und kann daher, wie das Original "Paddel", mit dem Daumen der linken Hand bedient werden, wenn das Magazin gegriffen wird. Hergestellt aus dem gleichen Kunststoff wie das Gehäuse des HK243 / G36 mit einem Magazinlösehebel aus Stahl bietet der Wechselmagazinschacht eine Qualität wie man sie von Heckler & Koch gewohnt ist und die jeweilige Farbe passt zur Grundwaffe.
