This magazine well for the HK243 or G36 allows the use of STANAG magazines as commonly found in the AR15. Modifications may be necessary for the SL8. The magazine release lever is located on the left side and can therefore be operated with the thumb of the left hand, just like the original "paddle," when grasping the magazine. Made from the same plastic as the housing of the HK243 / G36 with a steel magazine release lever, the interchangeable magazine well offers a quality that one expects from Heckler & Koch, and the respective color matches the base weapon.
