The XPS 2-2 from EOTECH (the little brother of the slightly more expensive model EXPS 2-2) is also among the best holographic sights currently available in terms of quality. In terms of workmanship, quality, and performance, this high-end reflex sight is truly worth its price. The nearly indestructible housing is additionally protected by a protective hood made of hard-anodized, matte black aluminum. The battery compartment is accessible from the side, and the controls are located on the back, facing the shooter. The compact design of the system also takes up very little space on your Picatinny rail, ~67 mm is more than sufficient here.
But it's not just the workmanship that is top-notch at EOTECH - the holographic reticle, consisting of hundreds of small dots, ensures high sharpness and low glare. The 2-point reticle is specifically calibrated with hold points for the caliber .223. In addition to the 1 MOA center point, there is another 1 MOA point below as a hold point for ~460m. The 68 MOA large circle primarily serves for quick target acquisition during hunting or dynamic disciplines (30 cm at 50m). This ballistic reticle was developed for 5.56 NATO/.223 cal with 62 g M855 FMJ at approximately 2,680 fps with a 14.5-inch barrel. When using different ammunition or barrel lengths, the reticle points may vary slightly.
Differences to the EXPS model: Brightness control at the back of the device (on EXPS it is on the side, making it easier to operate in position), On EXPS: Quick mounting system - XPS with Torx screw for fixation. The height of the optical axis is approximately 38mm for the 55x and XPS models, and about 45mm for the EXPS models.

Das XPS 2-2 von EOTECH (der kleine Bruder vom etwas teureren Model EXPS 2-2), gehört Qualitativ auch mit zu den besten holografischen Visieren das aktuell erhältlich ist. In Punkto Verarbeitung, Qualität und Leistung ist dieses High-End Reflexvisier wirklich sein Geld wert. Das nahezu unverwüstliche Gehäuse wird durch einen Schutzbügel aus hartanodisiertem, matt-schwarzem Aluminium zusätzlich geschützt. Das Batteriefach ist seitlich zugänglich, die Bedienelemente sind auf der Rückseite, dem Schützen zugewandt, angebracht. Der kompakte Aufbau des Systems beansprucht außerdem auch nur sehr wenig Platz auf Ihrer Picatinny Schiene, ~67 mm reichen hier vollkommen aus.
Doch nicht nur die Verarbeitung ist bei EOTECH absolute Spitze - das holografische Absehen, bestehen aus hunderten kleiner Punkte sorgt für hohe Schärfe und geringe Überstrahlung. Das 2-Punkt Absehen ist speziell mit Haltepunkten für das Kaliber .223 ausgerichtet. Neben dem 1 MOA großen Mittelpunkt befindet sich ein weiterer 1 MOA-Punkte unterhalb als Haltepunkt für ~460m. Der 68 MOA große Umkreis dient dagegen vor Allem der schnellen Zielerfassung bei der Jagd oder dynamischen Disziplinen (30 cm auf 50m). Dieses ballistische Absehen wurde entwickelt für 5,56 Nato/0,223 cal mit 62 g M855 FMJ bei ungefähr 2.680 fps mit einem 14,5-Zoll-Lauf. Bei Verwendung anderer Munition oder Lauflängen können die Absehen-Punkte etwas variieren.
Unterschiede zum EXPS Modell: Helligkeitssteuerung hinten am Gerät (bei EXPS seitlich, erleichtert die Bedienung im Anschlag), Bei EXPS: Schnellmontagesystem - XPS mit Torxschraube zum Fixieren. Die Höhe der optischen Achse beträgt bei den 55x und XPS Modellen ca. 38mm, bei den EXPS Modellen ca. 45mm.
