The XPS-DCR from EOTECH is qualitatively among the best holographic sights currently available. In terms of workmanship, quality, and performance, this high-end reflex sight is truly worth its price. The nearly indestructible housing is additionally protected by a protective hood made of hard-anodized, matte black aluminum. With the integrated quick-release mount, you can quickly and, above all, repeatably attach the sight to your weapon. The battery compartment is accessible from the side, and the controls are located on the back, facing the shooter. The compact design of the system also takes up very little space on your Picatinny rail; ~67 mm is more than sufficient here.
Differences to the EXPS model: Brightness control at the back of the device (on EXPS it is on the side, making operation easier in the shooting position), On EXPS: Quick-mount system - XPS with Torx screw for fixation. The height of the optical axis is approximately 38mm for the 55x and XPS models, and about 45mm for the EXPS models.
DCR stands for "Danger Close Reticle" and addresses the fact that with classic 50/200 zero (50 yards to 200 yards), targets at very short distances are missed when the normal hold point is used. Therefore, the target circle is cut off at the top and bottom, and below the classic 1 MOA point, there is a target spike set for 7 yards. This allows for precise shooting at very short distances.
In short - simply brilliant and definitely worth the money!

Das XPS-DCR von EOTECH, gehört Qualitativ auch mit zu den besten holografischen Visieren das aktuell erhältlich ist. In Punkto Verarbeitung, Qualität und Leistung ist dieses High-End Reflexvisier wirklich sein Geld wert. Das nahezu unverwüstliche Gehäuse wird durch einen Schutzbügel aus hartanodisiertem, matt-schwarzem Aluminium zusätzlich geschützt. Durch den integrierten Schnellspannverschluss können Sie das Visier schnell und vor allem wiederholgenau auf Ihrer Waffe befestigen.Das Batteriefach ist seitlich zugänglich, die Bedienelemente sind auf der Rückseite, dem Schützen zugewandt, angebracht. Der kompakte Aufbau des Systems beansprucht außerdem auch nur sehr wenig Platz auf Ihrer Picatinny Schiene, ~67 mm reichen hier vollkommen aus.
Unterschiede zum EXPS Modell: Helligkeitssteuerung hinten am Gerät (bei EXPS seitlich, erleichtert die Bedienung im Anschlag), Bei EXPS: Schnellmontagesystem - XPS mit Torxschraube zum Fixieren. Die Höhe der optischen Achse beträgt bei den 55x und XPS Modellen ca. 38mm, bei den EXPS Modellen ca. 45mm.
DCR steht für "Danger Close Reticle" und richtet sich an den Umstand, dass bei klassischen 50/200 Zero (50 yard bis 200 yard) Ziele auf sehr kurze Entfernung unterschossen werden, wenn der normale Haltepunkt genommen wird. Deswegen wurde der Zielkreis oben und unten abgeschnitten und unterhalb des klassischen 1 MOA-Zielpunktes befindet sich ein Zielstachel, welcher auf 7 yard eingestellt ist. Dadurch können Ziele auf sehr kurze Entfernungen präzise beschossen werden.
