The Greek name of the goddess of hunting refers to the target audience of this version of the proven Sauer 100. The Artemis version is specifically designed for the female physique. The components of this complete package are:

The Stock
The special features of the ErgoCompact stock are its compact dimensions, the steep drop that rises sharply to the rear, a slim pistol grip, and the reduced distance from the shooting hand to the trigger. This special ergonomic design meets the needs of the female physique, regardless of the shooting position the huntress uses to aim with her Sauer 100 rifle. The body remains relaxed while aiming and shooting and does not have to tense up because the rifle is oversized. This greatly increases accuracy. The stock is made of walnut wood, and its comb is adjustable by 20 mm.
The System
The system allows for quick cycling with high shot sequences. It features a 3-position trigger safety with the options
- secured, the bolt cannot be opened,
- secured, the bolt can be opened, and
- unsecured.
The dry direct trigger can be adjusted between 1,000 g and 2,000 g trigger resistance. The system surface is matte blued.
The Barrel
The barrel of the Sauer 100 Artemis is cold-hammered and ensures precision of under one MOA. It has a standard contour, no sights, is 51 cm long, and features an M15x1 muzzle thread.
Mounting and Optics
The riflescope is mounted on the rifle using a steel Weaver rail with a 2-part Henneberger quick-release mount. You can choose from the following models:
- Minox RS-4 2.5-10x50, with rail, 4 illuminated reticle: The 10-step dimming of the fiber optic illuminated dot allows for optimal target acquisition from dusk to bright daylight.
- Minox RS-4 3-12x56, without rail: The fine 4 illuminated reticle ensures optimal target acquisition and clear visibility. Additionally, it offers parallax compensation from 10 m.
- Zeiss Conquest V4 3-12x56, without rail, reticle 60 illuminated: The riflescope features a light transmission of 90% and the 56 mm objective is predestined for hunting in twilight to night.
- Zeiss Conquest V6 2-12x50 M, with rail, reticle 60 illuminated: With this, Zeiss presents a mid-range target optic that excels in performance into the premium segment.
- Zeiss Conquest V6 2.5-15x56 M, with rail, reticle 60 illuminated: The light transmission of 92% speaks for itself; with the 56 mm objective, it is suitable for hunting into the night.
- Meopta MeoHunter R5 3-15x50, without rail: The target optic with an illuminated 4C has a field of view of 12.4-2.4 m at 100 m and features a 5x zoom, an adjustment range of 90 MOA, and parallax compensation from 10 m.
- Meopta MeoPro R6 3-18x50 SFP RD, without rail, reticle RD-4C: The anti-reflective coatings of the lenses guarantee a light transmission of 90% and a true-to-life color reproduction across the entire field of view.

Der Schaft
Die Besonderheiten des ErgoCompact-Schafts sind seine kompakten Maße, die steil nach hinten ansteigende Senkung, ein schlanker Pistolengriff und der reduzierte Abstand der Schießhand zum Abzug. Mit dieser besonderen ergonomischen Ausrichtung wird den Bedürfnissen der weiblichen Physis Genüge getan, egal in welcher Anschlagart die Jägerin mit ihrer Sauer 100-Büchse das Ziel anvisiert. Der Körper bleibt beim Zielen und beim Schuss entspannt und muss ich nicht verkrampfen, weil das Gewehr überdimensioniert ist. Dies erhöht die Treffsicherheit enorm. Der Schaft besteht aus Walnussholz, sein Rücken ist um 20 mm verstellbar.
Das System
Das System ermöglicht ein schnelles Repetieren mit hohen Schussfolgen. Es verfügt über eine 3-Positionen-Abzugstollensicherung mit den Optionen

- Zeiss Conquest V6 2-12x50 M, mit Schiene, Absehen. 60 bel.: Damit präsentiert Zeiss eine Zieloptik im Mittelklasse-Segment, die mit ihren Leistungen in den Premium-Bereich hineinragt.
- Zeiss Conquest V6 2,5-15x56 M, mit Schiene, Absehen ist ein 60 bel.: Die Lichttransmission von 92 % spricht für sich, mit dem 56er Objektiv ist es geeignet für die Jagd bis in die Nacht.
