The A3 version is fully ambidextrous and features a revised magazine well according to NATO-STANAG-4179 (DRAFT).The MR223 is a semi-automatic self-loading rifle in caliber .223 Remington. It is the civilian version of the HK416, which is in service with numerous regular and specialized military and police forces. The MR223 is qualitatively equivalent to the HK416 and meets nearly all the requirements of its military counterpart. As an indirect gas pressure loader, the MR223 operates with the proven and reliable drive system of the G36. Unlike directly driven AR systems, the system housing of the MR223 remains almost clean while shooting.
