The photos are exemplary. Upon receipt of the 1/3 deposit, a K98 in comparable condition will be delivered within approximately 20 weeks. This K98 was manufactured in 1941 for the Portugal contract, never delivered, and then used by German units in World War II. We have installed a new barrel in this one. All steel parts have been meticulously polished and finished with a coating that closely resembles the original finish. Portugal contract K98s are very popular among ordnance shooters, as they are the only K98s that were originally issued with U-notch and post sights and may therefore be used in ordnance shooting. The target image can be captured much better and more accurately compared to the V-notch with a peaked sight, especially when firing longer sequences and for shooters with aging eyes. Die Fotos sind beispielhaft. Nach Eingang der 1/3-Anzahlung wird ein K98 in vergleichbarem Zustand innerhalb von ca. 20 Wochen geliefert. Dieser K98 wurde 1941 für den Purtugal-Kontrakt gefertigt, nie geliefert und dann im zweiten Weltkireg von deutschein Einheiten eingesetzt. Wir haben in diesen einen neuen Lauf verbau. Dabei wurden alle Stahlteile aufwändig ausgeschmirgelt und mit einem Finish versehen, welches dem Originalfinish täuschend nahe kommt. Portugal-Kontrakt-K98 sind bei Ordonanzschützen sehr beliebt, da diese die einzigen K98 darstellen, die original mit U-Kimme und Balkenkorn ausgegeben wurden und entsprechend beim Ordonanzschießen eingesetzt werden dürfen. Das Zielbild kann im Vergleich zur V-Kimme mit Dachkorn wesentlich besser und genauer aufgenommen werden. Insbesondere bei Abgabe von längeren Schussvolgen und bei Schützen mit betagten Augen.
