The TUNDRA fleece from Merkel Gear is a very high-quality heavy midlayer that can be worn alone as a light jacket or as a mid-layer under a membrane jacket such as the "Paläarktis 365" jacket. The centerpiece of this fleece jacket is the almost legendary Tecnostretch® fleece from the Italian high-end weaver Pontetorto, which is very high-quality, 220g/m² thick fleece material made from extremely thin fibers and is highly elastic. Das TUNDRA Fleece von Merkel Gear ist ein sehr hochwertiger Heavy Midlayer, der einzeln als leichte Jacke oder als mittlere Bekleidungsschicht unter einer Membranjacke wie etwa der „Paläarktis 365“ Jacke getragen werden kann. Kernstück dieser Fleecejacke ist das im Bergsportbereich fast schon legendäre Tecnostretch® Fleece vom Italienischen High-End Weber Pontetorto. Dieses sehr hochwertige, 220g/m² starke Fleecematerial besteht aus extrem dünnen Fasern und ist hochelastisch. Mit seiner glatten Außenseite und der weichen Innenseite ist es der ideale Stoff für die Zwischenschicht im Lagensystem von Funktionsbekleidung. Im speziellen Fall der TUNDRA Fleecejacke wurde auf die Außenseite zusätzlich eine ultrafeine Keramikstruktur aufgedampft, die Abrasion und Pilling verhindert.
