The modular design of the S404 allows for quick changes of stock and barrel in seconds. With the SAUER universal key (SUS) located in the fore-end, you can easily and individually swap calibers and stock pairs according to your needs.
Intelligently combined safety and modularity
Cleaning up after the hunt. Gun in the car. Danger imminent? Not with the S404. Because with two simple movements, the locking head can be removed. Firing the weapon is thus impossible. Switching from standard to magnum calibers - or vice versa - is just as safe and easy.

Ergonomic, simple, safe: The S404 manual cocking
The ergonomically perfectly placed manual cocking of the S404 ensures comfortable and quiet cocking. By simply pressing the button with your thumb, the cocking slide silently returns to the relaxed position. To open the chamber in a relaxed state, the cocking slide is simply tapped.

Adjustable trigger weight
Bone-dry trigger weights of 550, 750, 1,000, or 1,250g ensure that your S404 is programmed for accuracy. With the adjustable trigger, the trigger weight can be individually set in four stages, so you already know what release resistance to expect when shooting during adjustment.
Safe shooting thanks to adjustable trigger blade
Every successful sports shooter knows: Only the optimal position of the shooting finger on the blade ensures clean pulling and controlled hitting. With eight millimeters of adjustment travel longitudinally and five degrees of swivel range to the left and right, the extra-wide trigger of the S404 can be adjusted to any hand size and finger length.

Cold-hammered precision barrel for guaranteed precision.
Barrel and system are manufactured at the site in Isny. Each barrel is cold-hammered and thus guarantees our promised precision of under one MOA. The systems from SAUER are produced using the latest CNC milling technology to perfectly combine the barrel, system, and SAUER's legendary lockwork.

Der modulare Aufbau der S404 ermöglicht, Schaft und Lauf in Sekundenschnelle zu wechseln. Mit dem im Vorderschaft sitzenden SAUER Universalschlüssel (SUS) können Sie Kaliber und Schaftpaare ganz einfach und individuell nach Ihren Bedürfnissen austauschen.
Sicherheit und Modularität intelligent kombiniert
Schüsseltreiben nach der Jagd. Waffe im Auto. Gefahr im Verzug? Nicht mit der S404. Denn mit zwei einfachen Handgriffen ist der Verriegelungskopf entnommen. Ein Abfeuern der Waffe ist somit unmöglich. Genauso sicher und einfach ist der Wechsel von Standard zu Magnumkalibern- oder umgekehrt.

Ergonomisch, einfach, sicher: Die S404 Handspannung
Die ergonomisch perfekt platzierte Handspannung der S404 sorgt für bequemes und leises Spannen. Durch einfaches Drücken des Knopfes mit dem Daumen gleitet der Spannschieber lautlos in die entspannte Position zurück. Zum Öffnen der Kammer in entspanntem Zustand wird der Spannschieber einfach angetippt.
MAXIMALE KONTROLLE
Einstellbares Abzugsgewicht
Knochentrockene 550, 750, 1.000 oder 1.250g Abzugsgewicht sorgen dafür, dass Ihre S404 auf Treffen programmiert ist. Durch den verstellbaren Abzug lässt sich das Abzugsgewicht in vier Stufen individuell einstellen, sodass Sie bereits bei der Justage wissen, mit welchem Auslöse-Widerstand Sie beim Schuss zu rechnen haben.
Sicher treffen Dank anpassbarem Abzugszüngel
Jeder erfolgreiche Sportschütze weiß: Erst die optimale Position des Schießfingers am Züngel sorgt für sauberes Abziehen und kontrolliertes Treffen. Mit acht Millimetern Verstellweg längs und je fünf Grad Schwenkbereich nach links und rechts lässt sich der extra breite Abzug der S404 auf jede Handgröße und Fingerlänge anpassen.
