The Alaska GTX is a multi-award-winning trekking classic from HanWag and Gore-Tex. This is ensured, among other things, by the high-quality upper construction with few seams, the Air-Pulse system for the best inner shoe climate, and the Vibram sole. Even in bad weather, the robust Alaska with its Gore-Tex equipment is perfect for demanding trekking tours. The lining consists of a Gore-Tex membrane made of stretched, microporous PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), which is ultra-thin and ultra-light and provides waterproof and highly breathable footwear – even in colder climates.
