The Opinel No. 8 Outdoor pocket knife is versatile for all outdoor activities. For the blade, Opinel uses a modified Sandvik 12C27 steel with a blade thickness of 2.5 mm. The integrated shackle opener and the 3.5 cm wide partial serration expand the possibilities of use.

The proven Virobloc system locks the blade in both open and closed positions. The robust plastic handle is made from a polyamide/glass fiber combination. Although a loud signal whistle has been integrated into the handle, the typical Opinel design has been preserved. A plastic cord allows the knife to be attached to a hook, backpack, or belt.

Das Opinel-Taschenmesser Nr. 8 Outdoor ist bei allen Outdooraktivitäten vielseitig einsetzbar. Für die Klinge verwendet Opinel einen modifizierten Sandvik 12C27 Stahl mit einer Klingenstärke von 2,5 mm. Der integrierte Schäkelöffner und die 3,5 cm breite Teilsägezahnung erweitern die Einsatzmöglichkeiten.

Das bewährte Virobloc-System arretiert die Klinge in geöffnetem und geschlossenem Zustand. Der robuste Kunststoff-Griff wird aus einer Polyamid-/Fiberglas-Kombination gefertigt. Obwohl in den Griff eine lautstarke Signalpfeife integriert wurde, blieb das typische Opinel-Design erhalten.
