With model No. 7 Outdoor Junior, Opinel offers a model that bridges the gap between the long-successful children's knife with a rounded tip and the range of knives with conventional pointed blades. At the same time, they drew on experience gained from the models of the Outdoor series.
The knife features a blade made of stainless steel 12C27, with a slightly rounded tip that can be locked in place using the Virobloc mechanism. The handle material used is the proven, fiberglass-reinforced polyamide material from the Outdoor and DIY series. A practical signal whistle is integrated into the handle.

Mit dem Modell Nr. 7 Outdoor Junior bietet Opinel ein Modell an, das die Brücke zwischen dem seit Jahren erfolgreichen Kindermesser mit einer runden Spitze und dem Angebot an Messern mit herkömmlicher, spitzer Klinge schließt. Gleichzeitig griff man auf Erfahrungswerte zurück, die mit den Modellen der Outdoorserie gemacht wurden.
Das Messer bietet eine Klinge aus rostfreiem Stahl 12C27, mit leicht abgerundeter Spitze, die via Virobloc-Arretierung fixiert werden kann. Als Griffmaterial kam das aus der Outdoor- und DIY-Serie bewährte, glasfaserverstärkte Polyamid Material zum Einsatz. Im Griff ist eine praktische Signalpfeife integriert.
