At the IWA 2018 in Nuremberg, Haenel expanded its range of Competition Rifles (CR) with the newly introduced CR308. With the CR in .308 Winchester caliber, the Suhl-based company presents the 'larger and stronger brother' of the CR variant. The dimensions of the rifle have been adapted to the caliber; otherwise, it functionally and in handling corresponds to the Haenel CR gas-operated series. The universal caliber .308 Winchester promises high performance reserves combined with a universal and widely used cartridge. Through this expansion of their product portfolio in the area of indirect gas-operated rifles, Haenel addresses both the civilian market and the law enforcement market. Barrel lengths of 16.65" and 20" remain identical to those of the CR223. In terms of weight, the CR308 is in the normal average with values between 3.35 kg and 3.6 kg. The direct trigger with a pull weight of 3200 grams can optionally be replaced with a match trigger (pull weight 1500 grams). Magazine capacity is 10 rounds. (Show description in original language)

Mit der CR im Kaliber .308 Winchester prsentiert das Suhler Unternehmen den 'greren und strkeren Bruder' der CR-Variante. Die Dimensionen des Gewehres wurden dem Kaliber angepasst, ansonsten entspricht es funktionell und im Handling der Haenel-CR-Gasdrucklader Serie. Das universelle Kaliber .308 Winchester verspricht hohe Leistungsreserven kombiniert mit einer universellen und weit verbreiteten Patrone. Durch diesen Ausbau ihres Produktportfolios im Bereich des indirekten Gasdruckladers spricht Haenel sowohl den zivilen Markt als auch den behrdlichen Markt an. Lauflngen von 16,65 ' und 20 ' bleiben wie bereits bei der CR223 identisch. Gewichtstechnisch liegt die CR308 im normalen Durchschnitt mit Werten zwischen 3,35 kg bis 3,6 kg.
