The matte finish prevents reflections from the sun, thus providing a camouflage effect without any camouflage pattern. Additionally, this discreet cover prevents loud noises in case the silencer accidentally hits a high seat or ladder. A special PU insert ensures a clear view through the target optics: it prevents heat-induced mirage in the reticle if the silencer gets overheated.
