The pistol was newly purchased in May 2026, and during this time it had no malfunctions. Thanks to the ramp at the chamber, there are no feeding issues despite the 9mm Luger. There is no play felt between barrel, slide, and bushing.
The pistol is only being sold because the interest has shifted to another discipline.
The Range Officer from Springfield Armory was designed as an "out of the box match pistol" you can start competing with right away. Reliable and simple but with everything you need.
The condition is very good - like new, as it was always handled carefully and cleaned after every training. The MSRP of a new 1911 from Springfield starts at about 1400€ (depending on the model).
The Hogue grip is a very popular and comfortable grip, even with larger hands, which is why it is installed on many sport pistols. It is just usually a bit hard to get in Germany.
Personalization and spare parts supply are very easy typical for 1911s, as the parts are standard and compatible.

Die Pistole wurde im Mai 2026 neu gekauft, während dieser Zeit hatte sie keine einzige Störung. Durch die Rampe am Patronenlager gibt es auch trotz der 9mm Luger, keine Probleme bei der Zuführung. Es ist kein Spiel zwischen Lauf, Schlitten und Bushing zu spüren.
Verkauft wird die Pistole nur weil das Interesse zu einer anderen Disziplin gewechselt ist.
Konzipiert wurde die Range Officer von Springfield Armory als eine "Out of the Box - Matchpistole" mit der man direkt durchstarten kann. Zuverlässig und einfach aber mit allem was man braucht.
Der Zustand ist sehr gut - neuwertig, da sie immer pfleglich behandelt und nach jedem Training geputzt wurde. Der UVP einer neuen1911 von Springfield beginnt bei ca. 1400€ (je nach Modell).
Der Hogue Griff ist ein sehr beliebter und bequemer Griff, auch mit größeren Händen, weshalb er bei vielen Sportpistolen verbaut wird. Nur ist er meist etwas schwierig zu bekommen in Deutschland.
Die Personalisierung bzw. Ersatzteilversorgung ist 1911er-typisch sehr einfach, da die Teile standard und kompatibel sind.
