Since I unfortunately haven't had much time due to work to engage in airsoft, I have decided to part with my beloved rifle including battery, sight, case, suppressor, and magazines.
Therefore, it has also been used quite rarely, with a shooting performance of about 8,000-10,000 shots.
I am selling everything together as a set, so the next owner has everything they need to get started. Only a LiPo charger is required.
The weapon functions perfectly and shoots very accurately; the only technical adjustment I made was to replace the spring with a weaker one, as the rifle originally had about 1.7 Joules. The last time I measured it about half a year ago, it was around 1.3 Joules (without guarantee).

Samurai Edge - the top version from the VFC Avalon Weapons Works airsoft series!
The Avalon Weapons Works rifle series consists of rifles that are factory-equipped with tuning materials by VFC, specifically designed for players, compared to the VR16 series. VFC takes it a step further with this Samurai Edge airsoft rifle from the Avalon series. It is equipped with the latest ECS 2.1 gearbox, which is identical to the already known VFC Virgo series and features a digital firing control system with MosFet. In its factory condition, it also has a 6.03 mm Maple Leaf Competitive Grade precision inner barrel, which is equipped with a matching Maple Leaf hop-up bucking. As with the other Avalon rifles, it also features a ambidextrous fire selector and a custom charging handle in its factory condition. The Avalon Weapons Works and Samurai Edge housing labeling is also interesting, so these rifles can be immediately recognized on the field. All Avalon rifles are tested multiple times by the manufacturer regarding functionality and manufacturing quality before delivery, ensuring that only flawless models leave the factory. The buyer thus receives a rifle that can be used immediately on the field without further tuning measures.
The Samurai Edge is equipped at the front with a one-piece aluminum outer barrel. This comes in a fluted design and is therefore equipped with CNC-machined grooves that provide improved cooling for sharp rifles. Screwed onto the outer barrel is a steel flash hider (14mm-) in an aggressive QRS design. Instead of the conventional M4 polymer handguard, this version features an approximately 13-inch long aluminum free float M-Lok rail system. The system is a particularly lightweight version, completely developed by VFC, and is equipped with a total of four M-Lok rails. Accessories can be mounted directly on the handguard at the M-Lok openings, similar to the KeyMod system. Thus, there are no empty or unused 21mm rails that were often bothersome on conventional handguards. The mounting of accessories is carried out using practical quick-release fasteners. On the left and right, there is a loop to mount a QD sling attachment. Included in the package is an M-Lok to 21mm adapter rail with a length of 58mm. The attached metal sight is a foldable flip-up model and is adjustable in height. Typical of Vega Force Company / Avalon Weapon Works, the complete front system is manufactured and assembled without play and fits precisely. The high-quality coating of the metal parts also conveys a very authentic impression.
As with the other Avalon models, the processing of the main housing of the Samurai Edge is very high quality and consists, like real M4 / M16 rifles, of two housing parts. These come here in a special, more angular design that provides a very modern look. The matte black color scheme is powder-coated on the VFC / Avalon rifles, ensuring very good abrasion resistance. The quality of workmanship is also at a particularly high level, allowing both aluminum housing halves to fit precisely together. Unlike many other airsoft replicas, the Avalon series logos are not only cleanly laser-engraved but are also partially intricately engraved into the housing. Of course, this premium series also includes a continuous serial number that makes each model unique. Additionally, the package includes a special Samurai Edge badge that can be optionally placed on the magazine well. Also interesting is the functioning bolt-catch mechanism, which allows for easy adjustment of the hop-up system. Exclusive to Avalon are the ambidextrous fire selector lever and the enlarged magazine catch, which can also be operated from both sides. The upper housing part has, like the real rifle, an approximately 160 mm long 21mm rail on which, for example, a sighting device from the accessory market can be mounted. From the factory, there is an aluminum flip-up sight attached that can be folded in or out and adjusted laterally and in height. The Samurai Edge airsoft rifle is additionally upgraded. Integrated into the lower main housing is a special resized trigger guard that provides more space. Notably, there is the straight speed trigger with red anodization as well as the ergonomic QRS grip with textured surfaces, which is made of polymer composite plastic.
At the back, there is an aluminum buffer tube with 5 locking positions. The VFC Q.R.S. - Quick Response Stock running on it is made of particularly stable polymer composite plastic. The outer shape is based on the well-known M4 crane stock, thus also bringing its advantages into play. Inside, the stock offers extra space for the drive battery. The stock is opened at the back using the stock cap, which is flipped up. 9.6V NiMH twin-type or 7.4 - 11.1V LiPo small tri-panel and stock-tube batteries can be inserted (see accessories).
As mentioned above, VFC placed great emphasis on reliable functionality for the player in the Avalon rifle series. With the Samurai Edge, VFC went a step further and installed the new ECS Gearbox in version 2.1. This is also where the gearbox metal housing comes in a Reinforced 8mm design. Thanks to the reinforcements and the new 8mm Ultra High Speed ball bearings, reliability is already increased in the basic components. Durable Custom High-Speed steel gears are installed, which, like many other VFC rifles, feature a so-called spring-loaded self-shimming. To prevent the gears from reversing, a steel anti-reversal latch is installed. A sector gear clip is also included, ensuring a secure BB feed in conjunction with the new tappet plate made of specially extra tough material and the polymer nozzle equipped with an O-ring. For very good sealing and reliability of the cylinder system, a CNC machined aluminum piston head is combined with a reinforced polycarbonate piston (with 7 steel teeth) in the gearbox.
Especially interesting for the player is the installed Digital Firing Control System, which is included. This unit, equipped with an additional MosFet, takes the strong currents from the mechanical switch assembly (Switch Unit) and converts them into a signal generator. As a result, only a very weak current flows through the conventional switch, preventing any damage to the mechanical component. Due to the much lower electrical resistance of the Mosfet switching unit, the motor receives a more efficient current, which in turn unleashes more power. This is particularly interesting in Germany, as the increased performance of the Mosfet can prevent gearbox jams from occurring. Furthermore, the system features a so-called preloaded piston system, meaning the piston is pre-tensioned, allowing the shot to be released immediately after pulling the trigger. The automatic piston detection immediately recognizes the position of the piston and ensures reliable functionality. The low-voltage alarm for LiPo batteries, which automatically adjusts to the respective LiPo battery (2S / 3S), is also practical. The ECS 2.1 gearbox is based on the current VFC Virgo system but lacks programming functions due to German legislation.
To achieve the very good series shot performance of up to 1.4 Joules, an M120 tuning spring with a ball-bearing metal spring guide has also been installed. The spring guide features a quick-change function, which has now almost become standard. To ensure the spring is reliably tensioned, a high-speed / medium torque motor is already used as standard. The Samurai Edge achieves very good factory precision through a 6.03 mm Maple Leaf Competitive Grade precision inner barrel with a matching Maple Leaf hop-up bucking.
Like almost all high-quality S-AEG rifles, the VFC Avalon rifle series also features an adjustable hop-up system. This is the new VFC Generation II hop-up unit in a one-piece design with a drum-type adjustment wheel. As with all other M4 / M16 airsoft replicas, the unit is located under the decorative shell ejection window. To adjust, simply pull the custom tension lever - adjust the hop-up - and then press the bolt catch located on the side. The ejection window is now closed again, protecting the hop-up system from dirt.
All Tokyo Marui compatible M4, M15, M16 magazines can be used, such as those from Dytac, Tokyo Marui, Ares Airsoft, Hexmag, etc. The included new VFC QRS Mid-Cap polymer magazine has a capacity of approximately 120 rounds. Due to the material used, the magazine is particularly lightweight compared to steel sheet models. The honeycomb grip design ensures optimal handling and a perfect hold.
For operation, a battery with charger and 6mm BB round balls are also required.

(Show description in original language)Da ich leider Berufsbedingt nicht so oft Zeit hatte, dem Airsoftsport nachzukommen, habe ich entschieden, mich von meinem geliebten Gewehr inkl. Akku, Visier, Koffer, Schalldämpfer und Magazinen zu trennen.
Deswegen wurde Sie auch recht selten benutzt, Schussleistung ca. 8.000-10.000 Schuss.
Ich verkaufe alles zusammen als Set, somit hat der nächste Besitzer gleich alles, was er braucht zum Starten. Lediglich ein LiPo-Ladegerät wird benötigt.
Die Waffe funktioniert soweit einwandfrei und schießt sehr genau, die einzige technische Anpassung, die ich durchgeführt habe, war der Tausch der Feder auf eine schwächere, da das Gewehr ab Werk ca. 1,7 Joule hatte. Letztes Mal, wo ich sie vor ca. einem halben Jahr gemessen hatte, war sie bei so 1,3 Joule (ohne Gewähr).

Samurai Edge - die Top Version aus der VFC Avalon Weapons Works Airsoftserie!
Bei der Avalon Weapons Works Gewehrserie handelt es sich um Gewehre, die gegenüber der VR16 Serie, bereits ab Werk von VFC mit Tuning-Material ausgestattet und speziell für Spieler gedacht sind. Einen Schritt weiter geht VFC hier noch mit diesem Samurai Edge Airsoftgewehr aus der Avalon Serie. Dieses ist mit der aktuellsten ECS 2.1 Gearbox versehen, die baugleich zur bereits bekannten VFC Virgo-Serie ist und mit einem Digital Firing Control System samt MosFet ausgestattet ist. Im Auslieferungszustand ist weiterhin ein 6.03 mm Maple Leaf Competitive Grade Präzisions-Innenlauf verbaut, der weiterhin über ein passendes Maple Leaf Hop-Up Bucking verfügt. Wie bereits bei den anderen Avalon Gewehren ist auch hier ein beidseitig bedienbarer Feuerwahlhebel sowie ein Custom Spannhebel im Auslieferungszustand verbaut. Interessant ist auch die Avalon Weapons Works sowie Samurai Edge Gehäusebeschriftung, damit diese Gewehre auf dem Spielfeld sofort erkannt werden kann. Alle Avalon Gewehre werden vom Hersteller vor der Auslieferung mehrfach in Bezug auf Funktionsweise und Fertigungsqualität geprüft damit nur einwandfreie Modelle das Werk verlassen. Der Käufer erhält dadurch ein Gewehr, welches ohne weitere Tuningmaßnahmen sofort auf dem Spielfeld eingesetzt werden kann.
Das Samurai Edge ist an der Vorderseite mit einem einteiligen Aluminiumaußenlauf ausgestattet. Dieser kommt im Fluted-Design und ist daher mit CNC-gefrästen Rillen ausgestattet, die bei scharfen Gewehre für eine verbesserte Kühlung sorgen. Auf dem Außenlauf aufgeschraubt ist ein Stahl Flash-Hider (14mm-) im aggressiven QRS-Design. Anstatt des herkömmlichen M4 Polymer-Handguard ist bei dieser Ausführung ein ca. 13 Zoll langes Aluminium Free Float M-Lok Schienensystem montiert. Das System ist eine besonders leichte Lightweight-Ausführung, die komplett von VFC entwickelt wurde und mit insgesamt vier M-Lok Rails ausgestattet ist. An die M-Lok Öffnungen können, ähnlich wie beim KeyMod System, Zubehörteile direkt am Handguard montiert werden. Es gibt somit keine leeren bzw. nicht benutzten 21mm Schienen mehr, die bei herkömmlichen Handguards häufig störend waren. Die Montage der Zubehörteile wird durch praktische Schnellverschlüsse durchgeführt. Links und rechts befindet sich jeweils eine Öse um eine QD-Riemenhalterung montieren zu können. Im Lieferumfang enhalten ist eine M-Lok to 21mm Adapterschiene mit 58mm Länge. Das angebrachte Metall-Visier ist ein ausklappbares Flip-Up Modell und in der Höhe verstellbar. Vega Force Company / Avalon Weapon Works typisch ist das komplette Frontsystem spielfrei und passgenau gefertigt bzw. montiert. Auch die hochwertige Beschichtung der Metallteile vermittelt einen sehr originalgetreuen Eindruck.
Wie bei den anderen Avalon Modellen ist auch bei der Samurai Edge die Verarbeitung des Hauptgehäuses sehr hochwertig und besteht, wie bei echten M4 / M16 Gewehre, aus zwei Gehäuseteilen. Diese kommen hier in einem speziellen, kantigeren Design, das für eine sehr moderne Optik sorgt. Die matt-schwarze Farbgebung ist bei den VFC / Avalon Gewehren pulverbeschichtet, wodurch eine sehr gute Abriebfestigkeit gewährleistet ist. Auch die Verarbeitungsqualität befindet sich auf besonders hohem Niveau, wodurch beide Aluminiumgehäusehälften passgenau aneinander liegen. Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Airsoftnachbauten sind bei der Avalon Serie die Logos nicht nur sauber eingelasert sondern teilweise auch detailliert in das Gehäuse eingraviert. Natürlich gehört zu dieser Premium Serie auch eine fortlaufende Seriennummer, die jedes Modell zum Unikat macht. Zusätzlich befindet sich im Lieferumfang ein spezielles Samurai Edge Abzeichen, dass wahlweise am Magazinschacht platziert werden kann. Interessant ist ebenfalls der funktionierende Bolt-Catch Mechanismus, der für ein einfaches Einstellen des Hop-Up Systems sorgt. Avalon exklusiv sind der beidseitig bedienbare Feuerwahlhebel und der vergrößerte Magazin-Catch, der ebenfalls beidseitig bedient werden kann. Das obere Gehäuseteil besitzt wie beim echten Gewehr eine ca. 160 mm lange 21mm Schiene auf der z.B. ein Zielgerät aus dem Zubehörmarkt montiert werden kann. Ab Werk ist hier ein Flip-Up Visier aus Aluminium angebracht welches wahlweise ein- oder ausgeklappt sowie seitlich und in der Höhe verstellt werden kann. Das Samurai Edge Airsoftgewehr ist zusätzlich aufgewertet. Ins untere Hauptgehäuse eingearbeitet ist ein spezieller resized Triggerguard, der für mehr Platz sorgt. Auffällig ist hier vor allem der gerade Speed-Abzug mit roter Eloxierung sowie das ergonomische QRS Griffstück mit texturierten Flächen, welches aus Polymer-Verbundkunststoff hergestellt ist.
Hinten ist eine Aluminium Schaftröhre mit 5 Einrastpositionen angebracht. Der darauf laufende VFC Q.R.S. - Quick Response Stock ist aus besonders stabilem Polymer-Verbundkunststoff hergestellt. Die äußere Formgebung wurde an den bekannten M4 Crane-Stock angelehnt wodurch auch dessen Vorteile zum tragen kommen. Im Innern bietet der Schaft extra viel Platz für den Antriebsakku. Geöffnet wird der Schaft hinten mittels der Schaftkappe, die nach oben geklappt wird. Eingelegt werden können 9.6V NiMH Twin-Type oder 7.4 - 11.1V LiPo Small Tri-Panel- sowie Stock-Tube Akkus (siehe Zubehör).
Wie oben bereits erwähnt, wurde seitens VFC bei der Avalon Gewehrserie viel Wert auf eine zuverlässige Funktion für den Spieler gelegt. Bei der Samurai Edge ging VFC noch einen Schritt weiter und verbaut die neue ECS Gearbox in der Vers. 2.1. Daher kommt auch das Gearbox-Metallgehäuse im Reinforced 8mm Design. Dank der Verstärkungen und der neuen 8mm Ultra High Speed Kugellager ist bereits bei den Grundkomponenten die Zuverlässigkeit gesteigert. Zahnräder sind haltbare Custom High-Speed Stahl Gears verbaut, die wie bei vielen anderen VFC Gewehren über ein sogenanntes Federgelagertes-Selbstshimming verfügen. Um ein Zurückdrehen der Zahnräder zu verhindern, ist ein Anti-Reversal Latch aus Stahl verbaut. Auch ein Sector Gear Clip ist mit von der Partie und sorgt in Verbindung der neue Tappet Plate aus speziellem extra zähem Material sowie dem mit einem O-Dichtring versehene Polymer-Nozzle für eine sichere Kugelzuführung. Für eine sehr gute Abdichtung und Zuverlässigkeit des Cylinder-Systems ist ein CNC gefräster Aluminium Piston Head in Kombination mit einem Reinforced Polycarbonate Piston (mit 7 Stahlzähnen) in der Gearbox verbaut.
Vor allem für den Spieler interessant ist das verbaute Digital Firing Control System, welches in der verbaut ist. Diese mit einem zusätzlichen MosFet ausgestattet Einheit nimmt die starken Ströme von der mechanischen Schalterbaugruppe (Switch Unit) ab und ändert diese in einen Signalgeber um. Hierdurch geht nur ein sehr schwacher Stromfluss über den herkömmlichen Schalter, wodurch am mechanischen Bauteil keine Beschädigungen mehr auftreten können. Durch den viel geringeren elektrischen Widerstand der Mosfet Schalteinheit bekommt der Motor einen verlustarmeren Strom wodurch dieser wiederum mehr Leistung entfaltet. Vor allem in Deutschland interessant, da durch die Mehrleistung des Mosfets, weniger bis keine Gearboxjams mehr entstehen können. Weiterhin besitzt das System ein sogenanntes Preloaded Piston System, d. h. der Piston wird vorgespannt wodurch sich der Schuss nach dem Betätigen des Abzugs sofort löst. Die automatische - Piston Detection - erkennt dabei sofort den Stand des Pistons und sorgt für eine zuverlässige Funktionsweise. Praktisch ist auch der Low-Voltage Alarm für LiPo Akkus, der sich automatisch auf den jeweiligen LiPo Akku (2S / 3S) einstellt. Die ECS 2.1 Gearbox basiert auf dem aktuellen VFC Virgo System, besitzt aber aufgrund der deutschen Gesetzgebung keine Programmierfunktionen.
Um die sehr gute Serienschussleistung von bis zu 1,4 Joule zu erreichen wurde weiterhin eine M120 Tuningfeder mit kugelgelagertem Metall Spring Guide eingebaut. Der Spring Guide besitzt eine, mittlerweile fast zum Standard gehörende, Schnellwechselfunktion. Damit die Feder zuverlässig aufgezogen wird, ist im Standard bereits ein High Speed / Medium Torque Motor eingesetzt. Die sehr gute ab Werk Präzision erreicht das Samurai Edge durch einen 6.03 mm Maple Leaf Competitive Grade Präzisions-Innenlauf mit passendem Maple Leaf Hop-Up Bucking.
Wie bei fast allen hochwertigen S-AEG Gewehren besitzt auch die VFC Avalon Gewehrserie ein einstellbares Hop-Up System. Es handelt sich dabei um die neue VFC Generation II Hop-Up Unit im One-Piece Design mit Drum-Type Einstellrad. Wie bei sämtlichen anderen M4 / M16 Airsoftnachbauten befindet sich die Unit unter dem Deko-Hülsenauswurffenster. Zum Einstellen muss einfach der Custom-Spannhebel gezogen werden - das Hop-Up eingestellt werden - und danach der seitlich angebrachte Bolt-Catch gedrückt werden. Das Auswurffenster ist jetzt wieder verschlossen und das Hop-Up System vor Schmutz geschützt.
Es können alle Tokyo Marui kompatiblen M4, M15, M16 Magazine verwendet werden wie z.B. von Dytac, Tokyo Marui, Ares Airsoft, Hexmag, etc. Das beiliegende neue VFC QRS Mid-Cap Polymer-Magazin ist mit einem Fassungsvermögen von ca. 120 Schuss ausgestattet. Durch das verwendete Material ist das Magazin im Vergleich zu Stahlblech Modellen besonders leicht. Für ein optimales Handling und perfekten Halt sorgt das wabenartige Grip Design.
Zum Betrieb wird noch ein Akku mit Ladegerät sowie 6mm BB Rundkugeln benötigt.
