I can't make sense of it directly. Maybe someone is looking for exactly this component in this color.
From the processing and the material (beech), I would strongly suspect that the component is Romanian. However, the external dimensions also partially match those of a Type 56 handguard (see comparison pictures) and are relatively wide.
After thorough research, some clues point to a Romanian export AK variant.
The color can simply be described as orange. For color comparison, feel free to take a look at the picture with the Type 56 stock sets that I have also listed here, in direct comparison.
Condition: Absolutely fine, I can't identify any significant signs of use.

Von der Verarbeitung und dem Material (Buche) her würde ich stark vermuten, dass das Bauteil rumänisch ist. Die Außenmaße gleichen aber auch teilweise denen eines Type 56 Handschutzes (siehe Bilder im Vergleich) und sind relativ breit.
Nach eingehender Recherche deuten einige Hinweise auf eine rumänische Export AK Variante.
Die Farbe kann man schlichtweg als Orange bezeichnen. Zum Farbvergleich schauen Sie sich gerne mal das Bild mit den Type 56 Schaftsets, die ich hier eben so inseriert habe, im direkten Vergleich an.
Zustand: Absolut in Ordnung, ich kann keine signifikanten Gebrauchsspuren ausmachen.
