I am selling the stock of my Bergara B14 HMR Short Action, as it is unfortunately too long for me despite removing all spacers (the spacers are of course included).
The stock is in its raw state and has been prepared for optional bedding. For this, I have removed all the paint from the stock (chemically, not manually) and exposed the aluminum chassis enough so that the system now only has contact with the aluminum and not, as is the case with most HMRs from the factory, also a bit with the plastic of the stock itself.
This has significantly improved the precision of the weapon.
If one wants to take it further, the stock just needs to be bedded with any medium of choice. I am also happy to assist with any questions regarding this.
Afterwards, the stock can of course be painted in the desired colors or simply left as is, it also looks cool.
For a perfect cheek weld, I have attached a neoprene sticker to the cheek rest, which can of course be easily removed.
The entire processing of the stock was as non-invasive as possible; however, there are naturally a few visually rough spots, but nothing that cannot automatically disappear through bedding or painting. The only "damage" is that one of the screws of the butt pad was too long without a spacer and has pierced the stock below the cheek rest. Although this is not visible and should be easily concealed with little effort, I want to communicate this openly.

Ich verkaufe hier den Schaft meiner Bergara B14 HMR Short Action, da mir dieser leider trotz Ausbau aller Spacer zu lang ist (die Spacer sind natürlich inklusive).
Der Schaft ist im Rohzustand und wurde für eine optionale Bettung vorbereitet. Hierzu habe ich den gesamten Lack vom Schaft entfernt (chemisch, nicht manuell) sowie das Alu-Chassis so weit frei gelegt, sodass das System nun wirklich nurnoch Kontakt mit dem Aluminium hat und nicht wie die meisten HMRs von Werk aus auch ein wenig mit dem Kunststoff des Schaftes selbst.
Das hat die Präzision der Waffe maßgeblich verbessert.
Falls man das ganze noch weiter treiben will, muss man den Schaft nurnoch mit einem beliebigen Mittel der Wahl betten. Bei Fragen stehe ich hierbei auch gerne zur Verfügung.
Im Anschluss kann man den Schaft dann natürlich noch in den Wunschfarben lackieren oder einfach so lassen, sieht auch cool aus.
Für einen perfekten Cheekweld habe ich noch einen Neopren-Aufkleber an der Wangenauflage angebracht, dieser kann natürlich ganz einfach entfernt werden.
Die gesamte Bearbeitung des Schaftes war so wenig invasiv wie möglich, allerdings gibt es natürlich ein paar optisch roughe Stellen, aber nichts was nicht durch die Bettung oder Lackierung wieder automatisch verschwindet. Der einzige „Schaden“ ist, dass ein der Schrauben des Buttpads ohne Spacer zu lang war und den Schaft unterhalb der Wangenauflage durchstochen hat. Das sieht man zwar nicht und sollte auch mit wenig Aufwand gut kaschiert werden können, allerdings will ich das ganz offen kommunizieren.
