The 1301 is not only incredibly fast, it is also absolutely reliable and works with practically all types of ammunition without any malfunctions.
Vortex SPARC AR Red Dot.
Point and Shoot – Simple-fast-effective – this describes the Vortex SPARC AR best.
The Sparc AR is turned on using the rear-facing arrow buttons. It is dimmable in over 10 levels, with the two lowest levels intended for use with night vision technology. To turn it off, the down arrow button is held for 5 seconds and the Vortex Sparc AR is turned off.
To conserve the battery (1 x AAA), the Vortex Sparc AR automatically turns off the red dot after 12 hours. The battery has a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours at the lowest brightness level.
After turning on, the SPARC returns to the last selected brightness level.
Like the Sparc II, the Sparc AR comes with 2 modular mounting bases for Weaver rail/Picatinny rail. The height of the optical axis is 37mm (Co-Witness height), with an intermediate adapter the optical axis is at 40mm (1/3 Co-Witness).

Angeschaltet wird das Sparc AR über die nach hinten liegenden Pfeiltasten. Es ist über 10 Stufen dimmbar, wobei die beiden niedrigsten Stufen für die Verwendung mit Nachtsicht-Technik gedacht sind. Zum Abschalten wird die Pfeil nach unten Taste für 5 Sekunden gedrückt gehalten und das Vortex Sparc AR ist ausgeschaltet.
Um die Batterie (1 x AAA) zu schonen schaltet das Vortex Sparc AR nach 12 Stunden automatisch den Rotpunkt ab. Die Batterie hat eine Lebensdauer von bis zu 50.000 Stunden in der niedrigsten Leuchtstufe.
Nach dem Einschalten kehrt das SPARC zurück zur zuletzt gewählten Helligkeitsstufe.
Wie auch das Sparc II wird das Sparc AR mit 2 modulare Montagebasen für Weaverschiene/Picatinnyschiene geliefert. Die Höhe der optischen Achse liegt bei 37mm (Co-Witness-Höhe), mit Zwischenadapter liegt die optische Achse bei 40mm (1/3 Co-Witness).
