I am offering a rare Heym 26 KLB break-action rifle with left-handed stock. The condition is very good, as you can see in the attached pictures.
The Heym break-action rifle model 26 KLB impresses at first glance with its handling. The overall length is approximately 100 centimeters, and the stock length to the trigger is about 37 cm. The fine trigger, weighing approximately 800 g, was installed by Heym at the time. It is in caliber 6.5 x 57 R, and the shot group at 100 m leaves nothing to be desired.
The buttstock features a textured, steep pistol grip, pig's back, and a Bavarian cheek piece with a fold. The pistol grip and stock end are finished with a black butt plate. The transitions to the pistol grip are beautifully shaped on the stock neck side. The textured forend has a pleasing drop nose.
The Heym multi-quick-mount is prepared on the top of the monoblock. There are two short prisms at the front and rear, as well as a cross slot at the back. The mount consists of a rail piece with side clamps and claws and is not part of the offer. After placing and locking the claws in the prism, the right claws are tightened using the clamps; a stud on the rail engages in the slot. Rings or bases for a rail can be attached to the mounting rail, allowing for a low position of the scope. The stock and low scope position fit perfectly together.

Die Heym Kipplaufbüchse Modell 26 KLB überzeugt bereits auf den ersten Blick durch ihre Führigkeit. Die Gesamtlänge beträgt ca. 100 Zentimeter, die Schaftlänge bis zum Abzug liegt bei ca. 37 cm. Der Feinabzug mit ca. 800 g wurde seinerzeit von Heym eingebaut. Sie ist im Kaliber 6,5 x 57 R und das Schussbild auf 100 m lässt keine Wünsche offen.
Der Hinterschaft verfügt über einen griffigen, steilen Pistolengriff, Schweinsrücken sowie eine bayerische Backe mit Falz. Pistolengriff und Schaftende sind mit einer schwarzen Schaftkappe abgeschlossen. Die Übergänge zum Pistolengriff sind an der Schafthalsseite sehr schön geformt. Der griffige Vorderschaft hat eine gefällige Tropfnase.
Die Heym-Multi-Schnell-Montage ist an der Monoblockoberseite vorbereitet. Es sind vorne und hinten zwei kurze Prismen sowie hinten eine Quernut eingefräst. Die Montage besteht aus einem Schienenstück mit seitlichen Knebeln und Krallen und ist nicht Teil des Angebots. Nach dem Aufsetzen und Einrasten der Krallen im Prisma werden die rechten Krallen mittels Knebeln festgezogen; ein Stollen an der Schiene greift in die Nut. Auf der Montageschiene lassen sich Ringe oder Backen für eine Schiene befestigen, was einen tiefen Sitz des Zielfernrohrs ermöglicht. Schäftung und niedrige Zielfernrohrlage passen perfekt zueinander.
