The 8x56 Sauenglas meets these expectations based on experience: The thin bars visible at the top and bottom provide the shooter with sufficient "surround view," allow for orientation assistance in normal daylight for quick target acquisition, and help prevent canting the weapon. The finely adjustable illuminated dot covers two centimeters at 50m and four centimeters at 100m. As a result, shooting at small targets or greater distances is also possible. Without illumination, a black dot remains, which is suitable for daytime hunting or shooting at the range.

Bei letztem Büchsenlicht ist jedwede Art seitens unnötiger Zielabdeckung hinderlich, denn die Wildkörper-Silhouette sollte sich tunlichst gut von der Umfeld differenzieren.
Das 8x56 Sauenglas trägt diesen Erwartungen aus der Erfahrung Rechnung: Die oben und unten sichtbaren dünnen Balken können dem Schützen genügend "Rundumsicht", ermöglichen bei normalem Tageslicht eine Orientierungshilfe zur raschen Zielerfassung und unterstützen, die Waffe nicht zu verkanten. Der fein regulierbare Leuchtpunkt deckt auf 50m zwei Zentimeter und auf 100m vier Zentimeter ab. Als Folge ist auch der Schuss auf kleine Ziele oder größere Distanz möglich. Ohne Beleuchtung verbleibt ein schwarzer Punkt, der sich für die Tagesjagd oder zum Schießen auf dem Stand passt
