From the estate of a weapons and militaria collector:

According to the attached note, this is a sidearm from the Waffenfabrik Steyr 1881, made for Greece. The stamps are partly illegible; I have photographed them as best as I could. T-shaped, not bent blade with partial rust; total length: 64.5, blade: 52 cm. The trigger works and the bayonet fits snugly in the scabbard. This has been repainted at some point. All information to the best of my knowledge and belief; I am not an expert regarding such equipment!

Aus Nachlass eines Waffen + Militariasammlers:

Laut beiliegendem Zettel handelt es sich um ein ziemlich seltenes, für Griechenland gefertigtes Seitengewehr / Waffenfabrik Steyr 1881. Die Stempel sind z.T. unleserlich, habe abfotografiert so gut es ging. T-förmige, nicht verbogene Klinge mit teilweisem Rostansatz; Länge gesamt: 64,5, Klinge: 52 cm. Der Drücker funktioniert und das Bajonett sitzt satt in der Scheide. Diese wurde mal überlackiert. Alle Angaben nach bestem Wissen und Gewissen, ich bin bezüglich derlei Gerätschaften kein Experte !
