For my thesis on flow simulation, I developed and had a small series of titanium compensators manufactured. The goal of this prototype is to redirect the muzzle gases upwards and minimally to the sides. The angled deflector surfaces prevent the muzzle blast from being reflected towards the shooter. The difference to the Hera compensator is clearly noticeable.

Function: angled 2-chamber design
Caliber: recommended for 9mm, but can also be used for stronger calibers (e.g. .338 Lapua).
Condition: hand-polished with minor surface irregularities due to the manufacturing process.

Ich zuge meiner Abschlussarbeit über Strömungssimulation habe ich eine Kleinserie von Titankompensatoren entwickelt und herstellen lassen. Ziel dieses Prototypen ist die Umleitung der Mündungsgase nach oben und minimal zu den Seiten. Die Angewinkelten Prallflächen vermeiden, dass der Mündungsknall Richtung Schütze reflektiert wird. Der Unterschied zum Hera Kompensator ist deutlich spürbar.

Funktion: gewinkeltes 2-Kammer Design
Kaliber: empfohlen für 9mm, kann jedoch auch für stärkere Kaliber (z.B. .338 Lapua) verwendet werden.
Zustand: handpoliert mit kleineren Oberflächenunregelmäßigkeiten Aufgrund des Herstellungsverfahrens.
Material: TiAl6V4 / SLM Selective Laser Melting
