An original lower AK47 handguard, meticulously fitted for installation in Cybergun / GSG Co2 AK47.
It comes across as significantly bulkier than an AKM handguard or the standard lower (Type-56) handguard of the rifle.
It has been modified to also accommodate the rear steel end plate.
The component has been sanded down, the surface is untreated beech wood.
Important notes:
Since the manufacturing quality of these rifles can vary quite a bit, you may need to do some minor fitting work for your own rifle.
As the rear end cap made of steel is subject to the same manufacturing variations, this component is not included. Therefore, you should be prepared to possibly adjust the handguard a bit to fit your own component.
Since the AK47 handguard is designed for a milled receiver AK47 (the rectangle that is pushed into the housing is narrower than that of an AKM handguard), I would recommend substituting a bit on the sides, perhaps with aluminum foil or packing tape, to ensure that the handguard has no lateral play.
The upper Cybergun handguard (if you have the rifle variant with the non-transparent, hard, orange-painted furniture) is in fact an extended Type-56 handguard.
It is slightly longer than a normal upper AK handguard to ensure it aligns at the front with the lower handguard. Do not throw this component away! - If you sand down the paint, you will also find beech wood underneath, thus the component fits perfectly with this AK47 handguard. The upper handguard in the pictures is the Cybergun handguard, which has been slightly shortened to fit into the real gas tube.
The grip of my Cybergun was also made of beech wood under the paint. If you are interested in the component in sanded condition -> I can gladly send it for €10.
The stock of my Cybergun was unfortunately not visibly made of beech wood under the paint (I suspect it was made of Chu-Wood). Personally, I find stocks overrated, but if you need a stylistically perfect matching AK fixed stock made of beech -> feel free to contact me about it.
The untreated beech wood is partially a bit greasy (greasy hands). If you want it fresh, for example to paint or oil it, I would recommend degreasing it with isopropanol beforehand.

Ein Original unterer AK47 Holz Handschutz, aufwändig eingepasst zur Montage in Cybergun / GSG Co2 AK47.
Deutlich größer als ein AKM Handschutz und etwas größer als der standard-mäßig verbaute untere Type-56 Handschutz der Cybergun.
Wurde modifiziert um auch die hintere Abschlussplatte aus Stahl aufzunehmen.
Das Holz wurde abgeschliffen, die Oberfläche ist unbehandelte Buche.

Verwendung technisch auch in echter AKM, Gillmann Yunker AKM und Yunker 2-5 möglich (siehe Abschnitt unten).
Hinweise Cybergun China-Yunker:
Da die Fertigungsqualität bei diesen Gewehren doch recht schwankt, muss man ggf. noch mit kleineren Einpassarbeiten für das eigene Gewehr rechnen.
Da die hintere Abschlusskappe aus Stahl den selben Fertigungsschwankungen unterliegt, wird dieses Bauteil nicht mitgeliefert. Sie müssten daher damit rechnen ggf. den Handschutz noch etwas Ihrem eigenen Bauteil anzupassen.
Der AK47 Handschutz für eine milled receiver AK47 ausgelegt ist (das Rechteck welches ins Gehäuse geschoben wird, ist weniger breit als bei einem AKM Handschutz). Ich würde daher raten an dieser Stelle seitlich noch etwas zu substituieren, etwa mit Alufolie, Kartonage oder Paketband, damit der Handschutz kein seitliches Spiel hat.
Der Griff meiner Cybergun war unter dem Lack eben so aus Buchenholz (siehe Fotos). Falls Interesse an dem Bauteil in abgeschliffenem Zustand besteht -> Kann ich gern für 5€ mitsenden.
Das Glück belohnt die Mutigen ! So sagt man zumindest. Man sollte aber dennoch generell Sinn und Verstand walten lassen bevor man irgendwelche Eingriffe vornimmt.

Hinweise Yunker 2-5:
Der Handschutz passt theoretisch auch in AKM, Gillmann Yunker AKM und die Izhmash Yunker.
Sie müssten sich aber noch irgendwo die hintere Verstärkungsplatte besorgen.
Zur Montage in der Izhmash Yunker wäre wegen des Größenunterschiedes des Gehäuse-Einschubs noch etwas Substitution etwa mit Paketband, Kartonage oder Alufolie nötig (siehe letztes Foto).
