The development of the pistol began in 1994. In 1996, it reached market readiness. The most striking feature is the absence of a hammer; the P99 instead has an internal striker. The cocking status of the striker can be recognized and felt by a rear red signal pin. The loading status of the P99 is recognizable at the extractor.
In early 2023, Carl Walther announced that the production of the Walther P99 would be discontinued after 26 years.

Zustand: Minimalste Gebrauchsspuren
Sehr gut, Waffe wurde gepflegt, technisch sehr guter Zustand ohne wenn und aber, Optisch minimaler Brünierungsabrieb im Kantenbereich an der Mündung. Brünierung ca.98 %
Die Entwicklung der Pistole begann 1994. Im Jahr 1996 erreichte sie Marktreife. Auffälligstes Merkmal ist das Fehlen eines Hahns, die P99 besitzt stattdessen ein innenliegendes Schlagstück. Den Spannzustand des Schlagstückes kann man durch einen rückwärtigen roten Signalstift erkennen und ertasten. Der Ladezustand der P99 ist an der Auszieherkralleerkennbar.
Anfang 2023 gab Carl Walther bekannt, dass die Produktion der Walther P99 nach 26 Jahren eingestellt werde.
