This provides a maximum energy of up to 3 Joules. The projectile speed is 90 m/s. Furthermore, the CO2 pistol features a blowback system that realistically cycles the slide back with each shot. This also chambers the next round. The magazine holds 18 rounds. The CO2 capsule is inserted from the rear after removing the grip back. The CO2 pistol has a length of 167 mm and weighs 755 g. To shoot, the CP99 must be cocked once, just like its live counterpart. After that, the single-action trigger is used to fire single shots until the magazine is empty. Des Weiteren verfügt die CO2 Pistole über ein Blow Back System, welches den Schlitten bei jedem Schuss realistisch zurückschnellen lässt. Somit wird auch gleich die nächste Kugel nachgeladen.
