The KDG Kinect M-LOK Adapter with Picatinny offers the shooter the ability to attach accessories, target lights (where permitted), and optics to the weapon without tools and to quickly remove them again - literally "at the push of a button." The heart of the "Kinect" model series is the quick-release mechanism for M-LOK, no screws or nuts are necessary. The semi-automatic system simply clicks in and locks itself - to remove it, the two buttons are pressed, and the adapter is taken off.
Simple and reliable, the Kinect system is robust and keeps the respective accessories securely in place. Depending on size, the adapters use 1 or 2 complete M-LOK slots - mounting on a half slot is not possible. Made from high-strength aluminum and hard-anodized, these mounting parts meet modern standards and are aimed at all users, both governmental and civilian, who want to take the modularity of their weapon to the next level.
The 3-slot Picatinny adapter is the smallest offspring in the family and is suitable for compact accessories such as red dot sights, small target lights (where permitted), and short foregrips. Wherever only 1 M-LOK slot is available, this adapter finds its place. Significantly longer and designed for 2 M-LOK slots, the 7-slot Picatinny adapter offers more usable surface area and better force transmission. Suitable for heavy accessories such as night vision or thermal imaging devices, large laser-light modules (where permitted), or bipods.
Please note:
The M-LOK license specifies different maximum material thicknesses for metal and polymer. The Kinect system is designed for the thinner metal standard; there may be issues with M-LOK in plastic. It should also be noted that many inexpensive suppliers interpret the M-LOK dimensions somewhat liberally and do not consider the thickness of coatings, for example. Then the Kinect system may be a bit sticky. This is not a defect of the adapter; these are dimensional accuracy issues with the modular system.

Der KDG Kinect M-LOK Adapter mit Picatinny bietet dem Schützen die Möglichkeit Anbauteile, Zielbeleuchtungen (wo erlaubt) und Optiken werkzeuglos an der Waffe zu befestigen und schnell wieder abzunehmen - im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes "per Knopfdruck". Das Herz der "Kinect" Modellreihe ist der Schnelllösemechanismus für M-LOK, es sind keine Schrauben und Nutensteine notwendig. Das halbautomatische System wird einfach eingeklickt und rastet selbstständig ein - zum Abnehmen werden die beiden Knöpfe gedrückt und der Adapter abgenommen.
Einfach und zuverlässig ist das Kinect System robust und hält das jeweilige Zubehör sicher an Ort und Stelle. Je nach Größe verwenden die Adapter 1 oder 2 komplette M-LOK Schlitze - eine Montage an einem halben Schlitz ist nicht möglich. Gefertigt aus hochfesten Aluminium und harteloxiert entsprechen diese Montageteile modernen Standards und richten sich an alle Anwender, behördlich wie zivil, welche die Modularität Ihrer Waffe auf die nächster Stufe heben wollen.
Der 3-Slot Picatinny Adapter ist der kleinste Spross in der Familie und eignet sich für kompaktes Zubehör wie Leuchtpunktvisiere, kleine Zielleuchten (wo erlaubt) und kurze Frontgriffe. Überall dort, wo nur 1 M-LOK Schlitz zur Verfügung steht findet dieser Adapter seinen Platz. Deutlich länger und für 2 M-LOK Schlitze ausgelegt, bietet der 7-Slot Picatinny Adapter mehr nutzbare Fläche und eine bessere Kraftübertragung. Geignet für schweres Zubehör wie Nachtsicht- oder Wärmebildgeräte, große Laser-Licht-Module (wo erlaubt) oder Zweibeine.

Die M-LOK Lizenz schreibt unterschiedliche maximal Materialstärken für Metall und Polymer vor. Das Kinect System ist für den dünneren Metallstandard ausgelegt, evtl. kann es Probleme mit M-LOK in Kunststoff geben. Auch ist zu beachten, dass viele günstige Anbieter die M-LOK Maße etwas liberal auslegen und z.B. die Stärken von Beschichtungen nicht berücksichtigen. Dann geht das Kinect System evtl. etwas hakelig. Das ist kein Defekt des Adapters, das sind Maßhaltigkeitsprobleme beim Modularsystem.
