The KDG Kinect M-LOK Adapter with Picatinny offers the shooter the ability to attach accessories, target lights (where permitted), and optics to the weapon without tools and to quickly remove them again - literally "at the push of a button." The heart of the "Kinect" model series is the quick-release mechanism for M-LOK, no screws or nuts are necessary. The semi-automatic system simply clicks in and locks itself - to remove it, the two buttons are pressed, and the adapter is taken off.

Simple and reliable, the Kinect system is robust and keeps the respective accessories securely in place. Depending on size, the adapters use 1 or 2 complete M-LOK slots - mounting on a half slot is not possible. Made from high-strength aluminum and hard-anodized, these mounting parts meet modern standards and are aimed at all users, both governmental and civilian, who want to take the modularity of their weapon to the next level.

The 3-slot Picatinny adapter is the smallest offspring in the family and is suitable for compact accessories such as red dot sights, small target lights (where permitted), and short foregrips. Wherever only 1 M-LOK slot is available, this adapter finds its place. Significantly longer and designed for 2 M-LOK slots, the 7-slot Picatinny adapter offers more usable surface area and better force transmission. Suitable for heavy accessories such as night vision or thermal imaging devices, large laser-light modules (where permitted), or bipods.

Please note:
The M-LOK license specifies different maximum material thicknesses for metal and polymer. The Kinect system is designed for the thinner metal standard; there may be issues with M-LOK in plastic. It should also be noted that many inexpensive suppliers interpret the M-LOK dimensions somewhat liberally and do not consider the thickness of coatings, for example. Then the Kinect system may be a bit sticky. This is not a defect of the adapter; these are dimensional accuracy issues with the modular system.
