The Hornady Outfitter with CX bullet is a precise, lead-free rifle cartridge for hunting use. The delivery comes in a practical 20-pack. The proven bullet impresses with safe expansion in the game body with a high probability of exit due to 95% retained weight. The cartridges of the Outfitter line feature a sealed case mouth and primer for waterproofing as well as nickel-plated, corrosion-free cases. A universal and suitable hunting cartridge for large game (except in .223 Remington) for modern bolt-action rifles.
The CX bullet has specially shaped grooves that promote excellent aerodynamics while simultaneously reducing the contact surface in the barrel. The bullet itself is monolithic with a hollow point and ballistic tip. This bullet tip is made of heat-resistant polymer material that is insensitive to aerodynamic heating, thus achieving a consistently high ballistic coefficient and ensuring safe expansion. Due to its monolithic construction, the bullet retains about 95% of its weight, which promotes good penetration and a high probability of exit.
Please note:
Due to the lead-free, monolithic construction, the bullet is relatively hard with high penetration, making it optimally suited for roe deer and especially hard-to-kill large game up to 200-250m, depending on the caliber. For fawns and predators, the cartridge is less suitable, except in caliber .223 Remington.

Bei der Hornady Outfitter mit CX-Geschoss handelt es sich um eine präzise, bleifreie Büchsenpatrone für den jagdlichen Einsatz. Die Lieferung erfolgt in praktischer 20er Packung. Das bewährte Geschoss überzeugt durch sichere Expansion im Wildkörper mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit eines Ausschusses dank 95% Restgewicht. Die Patronen der Outfitter Linie verfügen über einen versiegelten Hülsenmund und Zündhütchen für Wasserdichtheit sowie vernickelte, korrosionsfreie, Hülsen. Eine universelle und hochwildjagdtaugliche (außer in .223 Remington) Jagdpatrone für moderne Repetierbüchsen.
Das CX-Geschoss hat extra geformte Rillen die eine hervorragende Aerodynamik begünstigen und gleichzeitig die Auflagefläche im Lauf reduzieren. Das Geschoss selbst ist monolithisch mit einer Hohlspitze und Ballistikkappe. Diese Geschossspitze besteht aus hitzebeständigem Polymermaterial das unempfindlich gegenüber der aerodynamischen Erwärmung ist und damit einen konstant hohen Ballistic Coefficient erzielt sowie für eine sichere Expansion sorgt. Durch den monolithischen Aufbau weist das Geschoss ca. 95% Restgewicht auf, was eine gute Tiefenwirkung und hohe Ausschusswahrscheinlichkeit begünstigt.
Bitte beachten:
Durch den bleifreien, monolithischen Aufbau ist das Geschoss relativ hart mit hoher Tiefenwirkung, ein optimaler Einsatzzweck ist daher Rehwild und vor allem schusshartes Hochwild bis 200-250m, je nach Kaliber. Für Kitze und Raubwild ist die Patrone weniger geeignet, außer im Kaliber .223 Remington.
