The Hornady .300 Blackout Sub-X with 190gr is a special subsonic load designed for hunting use. Optimized for use in suppressed firearms, the cartridge allows for use on predators up to about 100-150m, depending on the game – with the right weapon, the combination is truly quiet, perfect for use near residential areas and for cemetery hunters. Also suitable for use in short semi-automatics for the finishing shot, such a weapon delivers significantly more energy than a pistol or revolver.
The Sub-X bullet is specifically designed for use in subsonic ammunition and therefore expands reliably, longitudinal grooves in the ogive assist with expansion, the Flex Tip known from Hornady ensures reliable feeding and terminal ballistics, and the lead core provides the mass and deformation for a proper energy transfer.

Die Hornady .300 Blackout Sub-X mit 190gr ist eine spezielle Unterschalllaborierung für den jagdlichen Einsatz. Optimiert für den Einsatz in schallgedämpften Waffen ermöglicht die Patrone die Nutzung auf Raubwild bis ca. 100-150m, je nach Wild – mit der richtigen Waffe ist die Kombination wirklich leise, perfekt für den Einsatz in Siedlungsnähe und für Friedhofsjäger. Auch geeignet für den Einsatz in kurzen Halbautomaten für den Fangschuss, eine solche Waffe liefert deutlich mehr Energie als eine Pistole oder Revolver.
Das Sub-X Geschoss ist speziell für den Einsatz in Unterschallmunition konzipiert und macht daher auch zuverlässig auf, Längsrillen in der Ogive helfen bei der Expansion, das von Hornady bekannte Flex Tip sorgt für eine zuverlässige Zuführung und Terminalballistik und der Bleikern liefert die Masse und Deformation für eine ordentliche Energieabgabe.
