The B&T Low Profile Aimpoint MICRO mount for the Heckler & Koch MP5 offers the possibility to mount this red dot sight - or a similarly compact model - at co-witness height. Suitable for the HK MP5, the civilian version SP5, and similar models like the MKE T94, this mount provides a compact and stable interface for optical aiming.
The image is exemplary and shows the variant for ACRO.
"Co-Witnessing" means that the open sights can be used through the field of view of the red dot sight. The locking mechanism used for optics mounting on the MP5 & SP5 is standardized according to STANAG and is identical for G3, HK33 & MP5 - therefore, this mount can be used on these weapons and their civilian counterparts. In this mounting rail, the sight is not mounted directly over the footprint but via a Picatinny (NAR) interface, which, however, only has ONE slot and is designed for the original flat Picatinny mounts from Aimpoint or B&T.

Please note:
B&T AG currently uses the NAR, the NATO Accessory Rail, which is a modified version of the well-known Picatinny rail with improved repeatability and tolerance. For the user, the NAR is fully compatible with Picatinny.

Die B&T Low Profile Aimpoint MICRO Montage für die Heckler & Koch MP5 bietet die Möglichkeit, dieses Leuchtpunktvisier - oder ein ähnlich kompaktes Modell - in Co-Witnessing Höhe zu montieren. Geeignet für die HK MP5, die Zivilversion SP5 und baugleiche Modelle wie die MKE T94, bietet diese Montage eine kompakte und stabile Schnittstelle für eine optische Visierung.

"Co-Witnessing" bedeutet, dass die offene Visierung durch das Sehfeld des Leuchtpunktvisieres hindurch mitgenutzt werden kann. Die auf der MP5 & SP5 verwendete Arretierung für eine Optikmontage ist nach STANAG genormt und baugleich bei G3, HK33 & MP5 - diese Montage kann daher auf diesen Waffen und deren zivilen Nachbauten genutzt werden. Bei dieser Montageschiene wird das Visier nicht direkt über den footprint montiert, sondern über eine Picatinny (NAR) Schnittstelle, welche allerdings nur über EINE Nut verfügt und ausgelegt ist für die originalen flachen Picatinnymontagen von Aimpoint oder B&T.
