The Trijicon HD XR Night Sights offer improved target acquisition under all lighting conditions - thanks to Tritium. Compared to the "bright & tough" series, the HD series features a U-notch rear sight with serrations, which reduces light reflections and improves focus on the front sight. In addition to the HD, the HD XR has a slimmer front sight to enhance precision at greater distances. The special feature is the Tritium element - this slightly radioactive gas is enclosed in a glass cylinder coated with phosphorus. Through radioactive decay, the phosphorus is stimulated to glow. But don't worry: the glass cylinder absorbs any radiation, allowing you to continue carrying the weapon in "appendix carry."
The small "lamps" are enclosed in an aluminum cylinder and cushioned with silicone - preventing damage from recoil, impacts, and cleaning agents. The luminous area facing the shooter is capped with a sapphire - this serves as extra protection but also ensures an even distribution of light. To further increase contrast against standard sights in normal lighting conditions, the HD Tritium lamp in the front sight is surrounded by a ring of luminescent color (which means it "stores" brightness), making the sight behave similarly to a standard three-dot sight during the day, but in twilight, where the Tritium may not shine brightly enough, the target image is improved.
The Tritium elements all glow green, while the luminescent ring on the front sight is orange. The interface is for Glock pistols.
Please note:
All Glock pistols use the same sight mounting. However, this sight is not recommended for MOS models and Slimline models (e.g., 43, 48) as the rear sight may extend over the slide!

Trijicon was founded in 1981 in Michigan as a distribution company for "Occluded Eye Gunsights," a prototype of today's reflex sights. The name "Trijicon" was created in 1985 from the words "Tritium" and "Icon" and referred to the 3-dot Tritium sights for pistols produced by the company at that time. In 1987, the first ACOG was introduced - and thus began the company's success story. Trijicon manufactures sights for handguns, prism sights, riflescopes, mounts, and thermal optics for the civilian, law enforcement, and military markets. Among the company's most well-known and successful products are the RMR Micro Reflex Sight, which is now considered the standard in the US market, and the ACOG, a groundbreaking battlesight.

Die Trijicon HD XR Night Sights bieten eine verbesserte Zielerfassung unter allen Lichtbedingungen - dank Tritium. Im Vergleich zur "bright & tough" Reihe verfügt die HD-Reihe über eine U-Kimme mit Schraffierung, dadurch werden Lichtreflektionen verringert und der Fokus auf das Korn wird verbessert. Zusätzlich zum HD verfügt das HD XR über ein schlankeres Korn zur Verbesserung der Präzision auf größere Entfernungen. Das Besondere ist das Tritium Element - dieses leicht radioaktive Gas ist in einem mit Phosphor beschlagenen Glaszylinder eingeschlossen. Durch die radioaktive Zersetzung wird der Phosphor zum Leuchten angeregt. Aber keine Sorge: der Glaszylinder fängt jegliche Strahlung ab, sie können die Waffe weiterhin im "appendix carry" führen.
Die kleinen "Lampen" sind in einem Aluminiumzylinder eingeschlossen und mit Silikon gepolstert - dadurch werden Beschädigungen durch Rückstoß, Stöße und Reinigungsmittel verhindert. Die Leuchtfläche zum Schützen hin ist mit einem Saphir gedeckelt - das dient als extra Schutz aber sorgt auch für eine gleichmäßige Verteilung des Lichts. Zur weiteren Erhöhung des Kontrasts gegenüber der Standardvisierungen bei normalen Lichtverhältnissen ist die HD-Tritium Lampe im Korn mit einem Ring aus lumineszierender Farbe umgeben (das heißt sie "speichert" Helligkeit), dadurch verhält sich die Visierung tagsüber ähnlich einer normalen Drei Punkt Visierung aber im Zwielicht, wo das Tritium eventuell noch nicht hell genug strahlt, wird das Zielbild verbessert.
Die Tritium Elemente leuchten alle in grün, der nachleuchtende Ring am Korn in orange. Die Schnittstelle ist für Glock-Pistolen.

Alle Glock Pistolen verwenden die gleiche Visieraufnahme. Aber dennoch ist diese Visierung nicht für MOS-Modelle und Slimline-Modelle (z.B. 43, 48) empfohlen, da die Kimme sonst über den Schlitten ragt!
