The Strike Industries Crush Washer is exactly what it says: a Crush Washer. Referred to as "Quetschring" in this country, these small parts are essential when installing an asymmetric muzzle brake or muzzle compensator. For this purpose, the crush washer is placed over the muzzle thread before the muzzle attachment and is crushed against the barrel when tightened. This keeps the brake securely aligned and prevents it from loosening.

Hierzulande als "Quetschring" bezeichnet, sind diese kleinen Teile unerlässlich, wenn ein asymmetrischer Mündungsfeuerdämpfer oder eine Mündungsbremse installiert werden soll. Zu diesem Zweck wird der Quetschring vor dem Mündungsaufsatz über das Mündungsgewinde gesteckt und wird beim Festziehen gegen den Lauf gequetscht. Dadurch bleibt die Bremse sicher in ihrer Ausrichtung und lockert sich nicht.
