The Superlative Arms "Bleed Off" direct impingement gas block offers the user repeatable adjustment options for all common AR barrel diameters. Unlike nearly all other adjustable gas blocks, this system works by venting excess gas, known as "bleed off," rather than restricting the amount of gas flowing into the system. This has the advantage of allowing the system to run cooler and more consistently, as gas pressure spikes are better balanced, and less gas is blown back towards the shooter when using a suppressor because the accumulating gas escapes through the gas port rather than flowing into the system. The gas is vented forward, away from the shooter.
Since the gas flow is not blocked by a screw, this screw cannot be contaminated and blocked by residues. Additionally, the mechanism for the click adjustment is located outside the gas block, preventing contamination. The adjustment also features a lock that prevents unintentional unscrewing at the end of the adjustment range - disassembly is still possible. The "Adjustable Gas Block, Bleed Off" offers a total of 30 reproducible (click-adjustment) settings.
All variants of the Superlative Arms gas blocks are made from 416 Stainless Steel, with the black model featuring a Melonite finish. The gas port is secured in the mounted position by 2 set screws; most barrels have pre-drilled locking holes for this purpose.
PLEASE NOTE!
The gas block is delivered in the closed position - in this setting, firing should be avoided! Before using the gas block, it is necessary to unscrew the adjustment screw by 18 clicks (4.5 turns, 4 clicks per turn) - the gas port is now in the open standard position and behaves like a normal, non-adjustable gas block. This is the reference with which shooting should begin to ensure proper installation. Now the 30 adjustment positions are available to you.

Der Superlative Arms "Bleed Off" direct impingement gas block bietet dem Anwender wiederholgenaue Einstellmöglichkeiten für alle gängigen AR-Laufdurchmesser. Im Gegensatz zu nahezu allen anderen einstellbaren Gasabnahmen funktioniert dieses System durch ablassen überschüssigen Gases, sogenanntes "bleed off", und nicht durch Restriktion der in das System strömenden Gasmenge.
Dies hat den Vorteil, dass das System kühler und gleichmäßiger läuft da Gasdruckspitzen besser ausgeglichen werden und beim Schalldämpfereinsatz weniger Gas in Schützenrichtung geblasen wird weil das sich anstauende Gas über die Gasentnahme entweicht und nicht ins System fließt.
Das Gas wird nach vorne, weg vom Schützen, abgelassen.
Da der Gasfluß nicht durch eine Schraube blockiert wird kann diese Schraube auch nicht durch Rückstände verunreinigt und blockiert werden. Zudem liegt der Mechanismus für die Klickverstellung außerhalb des Gasblocks, wodurch Verunreinigungen vermieden werden. Die Verstellung verfügt außerdem über eine Sicherung, die ein unbeabsichtigtes rausdrehen am Ende des Verstellbereiches verhindert - eine Demontage ist dennoch möglich. Der "Adjustable Gas Block, Bleed Off" bietet insgesamt 30 reproduzierbare (Klick-verstellung) Einstellungen.
Alle Varianten des Superlative Arms Gas Blocks werden aus 416 Stainless Steel hergestellt, das schwarzen Modell verfügen über eine Melonite-finish. Arretiert wird die Gasabnehme im montierten Zustand über 2 Madenschrauben, die meisten Läufe haben für diesen Zweck vorbereitete Arretierungslöcher.
BITTE BEACHTEN!
Ausgeliefert wird der Gasblock im geschlossenen Zustand - in dieser Einstellung ist von einer Schussabgabe abzusehen! Bevor der Gasblock benutzt wird, ist ein herausdrehen der Einstellschraube um 18 Klicks (4,5 Umdrehungen, 4 Klick pro Umdrehung) notwendig - die Gasentnahme befindet sich nun in der offenen Standardposition und verhält sich wie ein normaler, nicht einstellbarer Gasblock. Dies ist die Referenz mit der am Anfang geschossen werden sollte um eine ordentliche Installation sicherzustellen.
